If the second amendment is all about a well-regulated militia rather than an armed populace, then private armed security should be banned until LESS wealthy Americans have access to the same.

Also, if we are going to have a revolution over gun control, why not start with a 100 percent tax on ammo, rather than confiscation and big brother?

My point exactly.

The rich will still have them. It isn’t just the outlaws.

The gun control lobby screams that it is about a well-regulated militia. I would join one, but there haven’t been any in three or more generations. Well-trained would help, because the cops are helpless.

That provision was specific for slave states who base their economies on slave labor.

Uh, no. Regulated in this instance is the word commonly ascribed to "Trained" or "Drilled", so well regulated is "Well Drilled".

The main manual for state militias during the Revolutionary Period and years thereafter was called "The Manual of Regulations" and described each step in changing ranks, loading, and firing.

"Well-regulated" means "well-trained" and nothing else.
