What a sad looking place.

It may be "racist" but it is nonetheless provably true that the extremely disproportionate rate of violent crime by black men (minimum of 10x higher than any other group) inhibits the use of public transit.

"Worst cities in America" and "least white cities in America" are completely interchangeable 99.9% of the time.

I don't want to share any moving vehicle with anyone besides family and friends. I don't take the EL in Chicago even though I had a stop 1 block away and the track was in back of my house. No busses or trains unless I know it's a drinking occasion and other friends will be with us. Not trains, but busses usually private.

Maybe I'm pompous, but public transit anywhere is trash. I've never had what I'd equate to a positive experience in any city. I'll take a scooter or electric bike to get where I need even in winter. Not sitting in piss, puke and shit on a train or bus. And potentially get robbed or mugged or killed. And yes, it's mostly blacks.
