BALTIMORE (WBFF) – Baltimore City Police tell us they’ve received 66 calls for squeegee related complaints in 2020.
That’s around eight calls per day.
Despite growing complaints, police told us before that they have not been issuing citations to the young men.
In many cases though former police commissioner Ed Norris says they’re breaking the law.
“There’s a lot of things they’re doing that are absolutely arrestable. They’re breaking the law by their mere presence in the street. You can’t obstruct traffic,” he said.

Every rich neighborhood has a poor violent neighborhood not too far away where the maids and gardeners live.
It is in the interests of both the rich and the poor that the rents in those areas be kept down by violence, and where there is a financial interest, there is usually a way.

I actually got into medical school after undergrad, and remember that it was recommended that people who wanted to be military doctors should first work in a US inner city hospital so that they could get a lot of practice with gunshot wounds.
No wonder why Johns Hopkins has such a great trauma center, for the east coast. Lots of practice with the locals.

Monday's are great in the Chicago region. I think it was 59 people shot and 7 dead during this weekend. Chicago is a literal war zone. It's worse than Afghanistan. Think about 59 people being shot. You know they missed some people as well.
Haven't worked in the city for 3 or so years now. Haven't been back to the bad parts. I don't think people really realize how bad it is from the outside. Some of these neighborhoods you'd have thought were 3rd world countries. We bought a building for $15,000... 4 units in S. Chicago.
I had a shitty car as a legit security process I had. No watches, dressed down to not look like I had money. Would intentionally leave wrappers and trash all over my car. South Shore, South Chicago, Englewood, Austin, North Lawndale, Garfield Park were the worst and scariest I dealt with. I fortunately was there during the day only, but I always was watching my back.

After two murders on Sunday night, Baltimore was 15 deaths shy of the record set 26 years ago, according to ABC News.
The two women shot and killed just before Christmas were the 337th and 338th residents to be murdered in 2019. Their deaths followed the killing of seven individuals, including three teenagers, that occurred after a shooting earlier Sunday afternoon. Those homicides, along with two other homicides on Saturday, brought the weekend total to 11.
Relative to population size, the homicide rate from 1993 has already been surpassed because the number of residents living in Baltimore has fallen by nearly 100,000 over the past two-and-a-half decades.
According to the Baltimore Sun, the last time there were fewer than 300 homicides in the city was 2014.
President Trump has been one of Baltimore’s biggest critics since assuming the presidency. During a spat about his immigration policy with the late congressman Elijah Cummings, Trump tweeted, “As proven last week during a Congressional tour, the Border is clean, efficient & well run, just very crowded. Cumming District is a disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess. If he spent more time in Baltimore, maybe he could help clean up this very dangerous & filthy place."
Cummings represented parts of Baltimore in Congress for more than 22 years prior to his death in October.
In November, Mayor Jack Young, who stepped in for Mayor Catherine Pugh after she resigned amid accusations of corruption, said the high homicide rate was not his fault.
