Especially considering the more science learns about this virus; how it spreads, how deadly it is, etc. The less severe it seems. (And no I'm not making light of it... but its thankfully not as bad as the "experts" first thought.)

We had a group of parents in our district finally say fuck it, let's get the kids to hang out yesterday. I don't ever think I've seen my oldest that excited to hang out with other kids. He was literally jumping and fist pumping like he just won the Masters or Super Bowl. It made me angry and fucking sad at the same time.

I went back and reread the original executive order (Executive Order 202.10) which said that...
"Non-essential gatherings of individuals of any size for any reason (e.g. parties, celebrations or other social events) are canceled or postponed at this time."
I get that we needed to limit the spread early on to not overwhelm the medical facilities and "flatten the curve". Was it constitutional? Probably not. But I bought into it (reluctantly) in the beginning.
