Exactly. You are willing to talk the talk about how it's easy to just roll on the scene of looting and rionts and in a split second tell good guys from bad, but you are not willing to walk the walk in these po-po boots.

No, I can't join. First of all, my IQ is over 120. It's just a number but that alone prevents me from joining. Limit is 120.

Second, even if I could join, I wouldn't be allowed to reform anything.

I'm not down in San Jose rioting, but it would literally take me 10 minutes to get down there. I'm not saying rioting and looting etc is justified. I'm saying that for 20 fucking years, the police forces have been militarized by the federal government intentionally. People were warning you that if this was allowed to happen, it would create a police state. Naomi Wolfe was warning about this over a decade ago.

Well, here we are.

Here, you know how I'd fix it?

Reduce federal taxation of everybody by 80%.

Allow (read encourage) states to raise taxation.

End any subsidies from Federal government to police enforcement. Make it absolutely clear that police can be recorded during an arrest. Require body cam footage to be released at the victim's request immediately - or the family members request, immediately.

You will end up with different states coming up with different solutions, and having different police forces that have different policies. This is called competition. You see, an evolutionary system is a lot smart than any person is. You allow people to come up with different solutions, you see the solutions in state A work really well, and state B adopts them. That's why were are the United STATES, we are a Union of Nations, or are supposed to be.

Naomi Wolfe

The chick who owned herself by not researching the counter-intuitive meaning of "Recorded as death" before writing an entire book accusing Victorian Britain of carrying out a Gay Holocaust.

Gets totally owned in her first interview with UK Victorian expert, "Matthew Sweet" (not the musician) who immediately takes her to task.

Everyone listen to Naomi Wolf realize on live radio that the historical thesis of the book she's there to promote is based on her misunderstanding a legal term pic.twitter.com/a3tB77g3c1

— Edmund Hochreiter (@thymetikon) May 23, 2019

You see, in 19th Century British Common Law, "Recorded as death" meant it was a potential death penalty that was stayed by the Judge. Judges had to orally pronounce the sentence as death in front of witnesses, otherwise it was an announcement that a potential death-penalty crime had merely been recorded but not issued.

She also failed to grasp the legal meaning of "Sodomy", which mean any sexual crime, such as child abuse or underage sexual activity, not just homosexual. Her lead "Victim", a teenage boy, was convicted of "Sodomy" and "Recorded as Death" for dicking around with a teenage girl. He's later in the records of a nearby village, married with kids, paying taxes on a modest farm acreage.

What exactly does it mean? And how does it change the fact that you, with your sky-high IQ is unable to grasp the simple fact, that it's idiotic to trust the words of a fist person you meet on a scene of riots and looting? Book smart and street stupid, eh? Militarization-shmilitarization. Even if these cops weren't provided some "militay equipment" by the feds, they still wouldn't trust just any fucking body until the scene is secured and proper investigation is conducted. Do you really think a looter won't be able to figure a simle trick to say "hi, officers, good you're finally here, I'm the owner and the looters went thaaaat way"? Don't need a 3-digit IQ for that one. =))

While wanting to place taxes at the state level where they are used is a noble gesture, it doesn't work out given the constitutional framework of the country. It is at the State level where "Balanced Budgets" are constitutionally mandated. This has led to a perversion to where the Federal government taxes OR borrows huge amounts to turn right around and transfer these monies to the States. Thus, the States get to use the Federal credit card for local spending.

The transfer from the Federal government to the States is huge, representing about 32% of the States' budgets. The amount received from taxes at the State level is about 48% (as of 2017).

This year with the State governors destroying their economies, the transfers will be much greater.

I'm not saying blindly trust them.

I'm saying, have the capability to listen to them. The cops immediately went to handcuff them, and wouldn't allow them explain anything. It probably would have been pretty simple to do this following.

"You say this is your place? Give me the keys to the door and let me see it fits."

If he was really good he would have added "I'm sorry, but I don't know you, a looter would lie to me. I just have to make certain you're telling the truth".

How can they not have the wherewithal to do that? They could have asked for the store phone number and called it. They could have at least allowed the reporter trying to explain the situation to explain the situation. The cop questioning her kept interrupting her, escalating the situation and telling her to "calm down" when she was perfectly calm. All they know how to do is escalate the situation.

They are very poorly trained.

I have basic people skills.

But when you run into a roided up crazy nutcase, it doesn't help. Believe me. If you've never run into one of those psychos, you've been fortunate. These police officers have low self control, and low self esteem. Police ought to take some time to meet the community they SUPPOSEDLY serve. That was the point of having cops do a beat. They do not protect and serve the communities they are supposedly there to protect and serve. They don't even know them.

Police officers should live in the area they are patrolling (teachers too), and they need to communicate with the community.

Here - want to know a trick with dealing with a police officer? Learn the police commissioner's name. When a cop starts escalating the situation, ask "would it help if I knew <police commissioner's name>?" and they will IMMEDIATELY start to treat you like a citizen. If they won't take the time to learn you, take the time to learn them.

A "Karen" thinks they know the entire situation and on top of that, is absolutely morally right, and that whoever they are berating is wrong, and furthermore, that they have power over them.

Cops ARE Karens - all of them except their weapons aren't getting some poor guy into trouble with the manager, or just causing a scene. Cops humiliate their victims by causing a scene, and demonstrating their victim is powerless, but beating the shit out of their victim on top of it.

Here's a better video without that snickering leftist commentary interrupting it.
https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/la-protests-riots-looters-arrest-reporter-live-tv-george-floyd-a9544851.html

The reporter was confusing as hell, over and over again. She started sentences and then changed direction with it mid sentence, confusing the cops. Her overuse of ambiguous pronouns combined with hand pointing when only some of the cops had a chance at seeing her point, made it even worse.

She could have just kept it simple, and pointed, and said "these people here are the store owners". repeating that a few times would have worked well.

That's why the later cop got frustrated at her and said "wheres the the looter? wheres the the looter? wheres the the looter?"

Towards the end she was so rattled and tripped up on her own words that she couldn't even speak, she just wanted to stand there and bite her fingernails.

I'm not sure how a situation like this is supposed to be handled by the cops, but it's clear to me that the reporter contributed to their confusion.

(where she was wrong..)

I hadn't known that. She kind of disappeared sometime in the mid 2000's as I recall. I guess that's why.

Researchers should have caught that. Consider the possibility she was setup. We all are at times.

Nobody is an authority, and books, by and large, are no longer useful for discovering the truth. Speaking of which: have you ever seen this interview?

www.youtube.com/embed/9Ikf1uZli4g

Luke Harding wrote a book that was garbage. He had only friendly softball interviews until he ran into Aaron Mate who just started to ask difficult questions. That's a professional journalist (read propagandist) being eviscerated by an actual journalist. A lot of people sell out. Rachael Maddow did. She made her name by pushing back on Bush for lying the nation into a war (that's also how the Daily Show became a phenomenon)

No, there is legitimately a ban on being allowed into the police force if you score too well.

https://abcnews.go.com/US/court-oks-barring-high-iqs-cops/story?id=95836

Crazy isn't?

Anyhow, it's just means I know math well and am good at recognizing patterns. It's not true you can't increase your IQ test score by going through IQ tests either. It's just a number, it is not a prediction of success in life neither is it a reflection of genuine intelligence. I don't think that is quantitatively measurable. No college ever used such a test for admissions for a reason.

I think something that makes people stupid, is overconfidence in their intelligence. I once would make that mistake, but you get slapped down enough times and start to reevaluate just how smrt you really are. You need to readily accept error and that you've made errors - if you don't do this, you can't progress.

I knew a very smart man that I worked with. He was a good thinker, but you couldn't tell him when he made an error, and he wouldn't listen to other people. He did a design for a computer chip - where he made a basic error. He crossed a clock domain without using a buffer, his reasoning was that one domain and the other both ran off the same clock - so it should be ok. Well in theory, yeah, but in reality there is clock skew so the two domains were out of phase - and that error was hundreds of thousands of dollars.

When somebody explained the error to me, I was in the same boat - what is wrong with doing that? Why do people use buffers if they are on the same clock? Why do you need different domains? "Because stupid, you don't have any experience doing this do you - this is why..."

I'm an engineer, most of my career is having somebody tell me why I'm wrong. If you're wrong, accept it, if you're right, explain their error. Beware - you might both be wrong. Fucking one lifetime of humiliation and fuckups.

Some amount of arrogance is healthy, but too much of it is a death sentence to development. Blue collar workers have taught me more about the government than any intellectual ever has - but they have their place too.
89   MisdemeanorRebel   2020 Jun 9, 12:59pm

IQ tests are the best mechanism for gauging intelligence ever created. Libbies have spent a century trying to discredit them, but they can't.

You think denying an application to become a police officer because they test TOO high on an intelligence test is a reasonable, sane thing to do, when supposedly you are recruiting people to protect the public from criminals?

You can't seriously believe that.

Believe it or not, really smart people sometimes end up being truck drivers, because that's what they want to do.

I bet you didn't know this - criminals score higher on average than the average citizens does on intelligence tests.

What I suspect the motivation is to cut off police officers that are "too smart" from joining the force, is that they fear they might be able to be smart enough to uncover criminal conspiracies within the police department and may act upon it.

Or to uncover wrong doing by the local governments that hired them.

LOL First Latisha thought she had control of the angry rabble they created, telling everyone to back up for the police. They ignored her, so the fat white liberal faggot that instigated the whole thing and might get sued steps in and yells, "Guys Back up! Back UP!" again nobody listened. So the Shananay steps in with old tried and trusty Dog Whistle, and starts yelling. "On Your Knees! On your Knees!" To which the Cucked White Liberal Faggots and the BLM dick suckers all respond by taking a knee.
But it doesn't work on black people, it's white people that have to take a knee! Get IT!?!?! In other words, the white virtue signaling for White Cucked Fags, don't work on Thugs and Rappers. (Mansplained for added Fuckyouness!)
I'm just trying not to bust my gut laughing the Medics still need to get in and out, but now people are occupying an even bigger foot print!

LOL HAHA Liberals lack thinking skills period!
