Party Politics is the enemy of the people because it divides them. It oversimplifies and distorts every major issue, deliberately polarizing voters with illogical and biased arguments.

The Party System is so entangled with the election process that the US citizen today is left with the impression that it was a crafted part of our Constitution, which it most definitely was not!

For example, with today’s instantaneous and ubiquitous communications, there is no excuse for us being left with such dismal choices for the Chief Executive. It is the will of the people that should define the best choices for a political office, not practiced, plastic, privileged party favorites.

At this point, if someone aspires to hold a political office, in my opinion, they are the wrong choice. In fact, I would vote against any career politician - almost any incumbent at all! Democracy is too precious an invention to waste on a socialist pipe dream of big government as some altruistic Robin Hood.

This year, with the mess we have allowed, I would like to see a career cop as president - a minority one would be refreshing, and preferably one with a history of saying what he means, even of rubbing people the wrong way by being straightforward and outspoken. He or she would be one who still believes in the rule of law, damn it, and the true purpose of democracy, rather than the talking points of the zombie political parties and their fake outrage, fake compassion, and fake loyalties. All the more kudos to a career cop who doesn’t want to be the ‘f’ing President of the United States’.

If there still must be a ‘party’ to hang a shingle out, let it be the Anti-Incumbent Party. Any career politician still slinging the mud of approved talking points, according to we AIP’s, is officially a Swamp Thing - and all Swamp Things must go!

I like the idea of being annoying to as many people as possible these days, so yes, proudly, but that is not all that I am.

There are more dimensions than left or right, and more colors than red or blue. Labels are easy. They build a wall that allows one to instantly declare every star-bellied sneech living on the other side to be ‘one-of-them’.
