Remember how normal it was to see a White Guy in some ZZTop video get with all the chicks. Even if he was a regular dude?

Much less some action movie where the White Male hero beats up the bad guy and at the party there's Chicks all over him? Or at least one hot chick?

If the Hero does get with a chick, she's just as 'heroic' as him and their relationship is "complex" and even a little deferential on the man's part.

We now live in an age where "Baby it's called outside" is Rapey and banned but "W.A.P." is on conventional terrestrial radio and in the Award Shows nobody watches.

While I don't admire the CCP, I do understand and appreciate why they've imposed sweeping regulations on media to remove positive references to single moms, unmarried single women (except as a YOUNG love interest), and LGBTQ123+ romance, and insist that the bulk of television and movies portray men in a heroic role who are rewarded for discipline and virtue.

What I don't understand is what is the monetary motive of pushing "the message"?

It's possible that all this is to get people to go online more, and drop film and television. Television is not watched by the young. It's possible they are purposely killing television and film to herd everybody onto an online system where everything you see and do on it, is trivially monitored.
