The Liberals should have leaned into Trump. Trump at the end of the day is the big tough kid that likes to be liked. England is doing it to Boris Johnson, once they stopped attacking him like he was the second coming of Donald Trump and the Texas KKK chapter, he was willing to do what ever the Commies wanted.
I don't think Trump would have been that bad, but he would have alienated his base, with kissing the Democrats ass had they leaned into his Liberal policies and fostered those rather than trying to thwart and destroy him.
Instead they made up potty jokes and got FISA warrants and is about to ruin the careers of 40% of every career politician and Lobbying firm in Washington D.C.
