#terriblebayareaairquality A couple of years ago we had a terrible fire in far Northern California called The Paradise Fire. There were 85 deaths. The smoke got terrible down here in the Bay Area. I bought a Dyson air purifier. It saw a lot of use then. I had to get it working again as we have the worst air quality in the state due to fires all around including Santa Cruz. It helps.

Bullshit when there are no fires the quality is better than most of Central and Southern CA because of the constant breeze.

The November 8, 2018 blaze that destroyed the town of Paradise and surrounding communities was called the Camp Fire.

Saigon (Ho Chi Minh CIty) reeks of unburnt gasoline from mopeds and burns the eyes as well as lungs.

I can believe we had the worst air quality in the world during the Paradise Fire (or Camp Fire), and probably some places that are burning right now.
Still not as bad for us as Paradise was.
But truly, I am going to get away from places that burn in the summer. Done with this.
