I setup a computer for my daughter to use for Kindergarten, for online Commie Schooling.
She's left handed and was having a problem with clicking links. So I went in settings, and set her right button on the mouse to be the primary button.
Now I'm back in my office and I just had to go into my settings and set the setting back to left. Even though when I set up the computer for her, I unchecked everything Microsoft wants to impose, told it don't sync between devices, my phone was none of Microsoft's fucking business and everything else.

If they are stealing your personal computer settings, what else are they doing? Google has never propagated settings from my Android device to all of the 4 phones on my Metro PCS account.

Microsoft is dying a horrible slow death, and while it's been my livelihood for the last 25 years, I don't think I'll be sad to see them go.

Haven't used it that much, but at first glance it's much simpler that AWS which is a bad and a good thing but probably enables companies and users faster to succeed. AWS overcomplicated permissions a bit.

Since the Enterprise is so intimidating for Social Issue educated idiots our Colleges turn out. The new batch of Techies are taking to arbitrarily labeling themselves. "Data Scientists"
There's a new shitbird at work, that has been tasked with wrangling an acquired business's Quickbooks and spreadsheets into a manageable report.
For me I was thinking about importing spreadsheets, and digesting them and doing selects into smaller tables to start building a normalized data model out of it.
Since SSMS is so confusing for him, and the most rudimentary SQL querying skills he does not posses.

He's now taken to trying to sell us on Panda and other open source tools, that's all in the cloud. It took him 8 hours to set up a python script to cut through a 20,000 record set and replace nulls with NaN, he was impressed as fuck that it took one second. And the poor misguided feller is also under the impression that the Query Anaylizer is incapable of cleaning up data, and replacing chars, integers, and dates with something else of your choosing.
Because I'm not a Data Scientist doncha know?

I have a feeling, people like this fucknut, is going to be the face driving the enterprises into the ground.
Microsoft took people from spreadsheets into sophisticated databases and application architectures, only for these new batch of fools, now wants csv files so they crunch it in the Cloud. They don't need Microsoft for what they want to do, they can do it on a tablet, or even a Mac.

I wont be around to ask. "What in the Wide Wild World of Sports are you doing Shitbird!?"

And I wont be there to tell the Business Unit, "What did you fucking expect? If it were that easy, you wouldn't have needed none of US!"
