Move to rural areas people. I think we're 5 days deep now and they've stopped even taking temperature of the kids after the first two days. The school knew it was bull shit, but were careful the first week in case someone was "watching" or Karen got pissed.

If your kid had a fever 2 years ago, you didn't fucking send them to school. Nothing has changed. Fever/sickness, no school. If my kids had a fever of 100.4, I'd keep them at home 9 out of 10 times. Now I just have to answer a fucking question daily about it. No. My kid isn't sick fucktards.

Those images in previous comments are downright alarming though. Kids need to be exposed to stuff. You can't hide from this shit or bubble wrap yourself.

What state are you in?

They still do temp checks at my kids school, but it's funny how innacurate they are. Both of my kids registered 98.7 on a marker morning and both at exactly 97.1 on a rainy cooler morning lol. This is the Atlanta area in a private school.

I give it another week before they stop.

We all know that, but temperature checks are quick and easy and allow places to stay open. Reminds me of going to Worlds of Fun amusement park a couple weeks ago. They had some temperature sensors that could check people en mass as they walked through the entrance. May not be scientifically useful, but it allowed then to open the park.
