Yes, it would be good to keep a list of companies betraying the country for virtue points, with

1. exactly what they did
2. when

Happy to report that Trader Joe's has not succumbed yet! You can still find Trader Ming's Chinese food anyway.

Too late to boycott them, as they have 90% of the corporate space.

Boeing announced Blacks will be 20% of workforce. They also announced layoffs. Of course, Blacks are only 12% of the population so they've announced they'll disproportionally hire Blacks.

A rather talented black female friend of mine left Boeing a month ago saying "they all are fucking idiots". She also told that internal company chats consist mostly of memes making fun of Boeing administration incompetence.

@Patrick - perhaps someone should make a website hosted in Iceland that documents which companies have become woke. It may become a yuuge hit.

As a Boeing shareholder, this makes me sad. I should probably sell, but have an aversion to taking losses.

I will try to write the Boeing board and tell them I want hiring based on competence alone, with race left out because it is irrelevant. Not that it will help, but I have to try.

Tried here:

As a shareholder, I was greatly saddened to hear that Boeing will be using race rather than competence alone in making hiring decisions. This is wrong on at least two levels: 1. more planes will crash if anything other than competence alone is used in hiring decisions 2. it is literally racist and wrong to hire on the basis of race, ever. Please change your policy!

You can quit promoting them as a Professional.
As a Microsoftcentric Developer all of my Career, I have preserved and defended Microsoft in the Enterprise. I have fended off Macheads and Limuxes from using their open source fiddly Nerdy ass shit, and have reigned supreme because they either wouldn't or couldn't Develop for the Microsoft Enterprise.
There's a lot of technology out there that is all in the cloud and all companies need is thin clients to access it. They could use any device.
I'm now saying hey bring it on. Why the hell not? What's the worse that could happen, they make more relevant than I already am, if they muck it all up and all of that fiddly nerdy open source "Data Scientist" cloud based shit fails them.

But if they succeed, then I'm finally free to go on and peruse my own adventures. Convert all my technology built on Microsoft over to the fiddly Nerdy opensource shit on the Cloud. Why the hell not? Kill two birds with one stone. Get away from Microsoft by updating my code base to the latest fiddly nerdy cloud based open sourced shit, and I'll be doing what I planned on doing but with up to date latest and greatest fiddly nerdy cloud based open sourced shit.

Seriously though Microsoft is on their way out. Their Net.Core hasn't been embraced like they thought it would. It's only 20 years too late. They promised the .net framework would run all Operating Systems. They never delivered that. I think by Microsoft pivoting to the opensource crowd when they didn't even embrace it. But screwed all of the .net developers by saying they are going to retire a lot of the best features and patterns we found the most use for. Well Fuck THEM! I might as well get with a new program, if Microsoft is trying to be what they are not.

These days most job postings down here are for CRM or ERP developers more than any language or framework, by 10 to 1. Microsoft Developer culture is in its death throes, when the MS developers are gone. We'll see less Microsoft products in Companies.

They still have the best DBMS Database Server than Oracle and other relational DBs though.
