Ricardo Munoz, 27, was shot dead by an officer after he charged at him while brandishing a knife above his head

The officer was responding to a domestic disturbance call in Lancaster, Pennsylvania

Munoz's sister called police after he started acting aggressively toward his mother and tried to break into his sister's home

Bodycam footage shows him emerging from a house as an officer arrives on the scene. He then charged at the officer before he was shot dead

Yesterday's shooting sparked protests where dozens gathered outside the Lancaster Police headquarters and bashed in the windows of police cars

Munoz was awaiting trial for stabbing and seriously injuring four other people, including a 16-year-old boy, last year

Police responding to that incident found him outside a home, where he held a knife to his throat

He then jumped over a handrail and police used a stun gun on him before taking him into custody

Lancaster District Attorney's Office is investigating the incident
