I used to think people like this were outliers. You find a couple of crazies here and there in any crowd, but it has become far too common to be considered part of a normal distribution.
Yuri Bezmenov was right. These people are lost causes, there is no path back to normality for them. The only way forward is to ignore them best we can, make sure they aren't allowed into authority positions, and focus on proper education for the young which is where this corruption began.

The biggest reason for Trump to Sally forth with the appointment. Even if it is rejected by the GOP majority and voted down. He will have forced Biden to name the picks on his list.
The American people will not tolerate Trump's nominee being rejected, while Biden doesn't even name his.
His pick would be worse than his Veep pick. So close to the election, Biden can't afford another Democrat collective groan.

All the more important to get out there and make sure you vote, and ask everyone who can lift a finger to do so as well.

I can hear a number of people saying "I'd go to jail for harvesting as many fake votes as possible to make sure Trump doesn't get elected."
