So the vote for ACB's confirmation will happen just a week before the election. By then America will be sick and tired of the Democrats hissy fit they are going to unleash between then and now. They are going to go scorched Earth beyond anything we've seen yet. Their last ditch effort to resist. The voters will be fed up and at the point, "If the Election was held today, how would you vote?" Most will say they'll vote for Trump. Trump's approval rating goes through the roof and those "How would you vote if the election were today" has gone to Trump, after all of the Liberal full out panic assaults. But this time, the election is going to be just a week away. Not enough time for the Liberals to invent a new crises against Trump.

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham on Sunday laid out the timeline of Judge Amy Coney Barrett’s Supreme Court confirmation process.

“More than half of the Supreme Court justices who have had hearings were done within 16 days or less, so we’ll start on Oct. 12,” the South Carolina Republican said on Fox News.

“We’ll have a day of introduction. We’ll have two days of questioning, Tuesday and Wednesday, and on [Oct. 15] we’ll begin the markup.”

“We’ll hold it over for a week, and we’ll report her nomination out of the committee on Oct. 22,” Graham continued. “Then it will be up to Sen. [Mitch] McConnell as to what to do with the nomination once it comes out of committee.”

And here it is: They leaked Trump's taxes for years.

That had to have come from the IRS, House, or maybe SDNY.

Anyone that believes The New York Times story about Trump paying $750 dollars, in 2016, is in a fairy tale world.
Even if you want to believe that Trump is cunning and conniving with his corporate taxes and ends up paying nothing or next to nothing at all.
He would still have to be paid a Salary, his actual income tax, would not have any wriggle room that his business taxes have.
I can't imagine where he would have the tax burden of a McDonald's worker. That makes no sense, it was what they were trying to say in 2016, while he is alleged to have paid only $750. His inaugural year, he has to file his taxes and send it in, about the time he's getting inaugurated, and he's going to fuck it up over some low rent cheat shit like that?

It's absurd!

It doesn’t matter what income tax Trump paid personally; he definitely paid millions of dollars per year in property taxes.

So what if he didn’t pay for the government goldbricks in DC, welfare queens or rich federal pensions; he paid locally in various counties around the USA.

I guess that he paid $37 million in various property taxes last year.

Not just property taxes either though. Any W-2 employee he's paying any money to, he pays 6.2% taxes. Yes, you account for that during hiring, but it technically is paid by the employer. I'm sure he hires most the work out to 3rd party venders, but by default he's spending his money that then results in more tax revenues. I'd guess between property and other taxes he's looking at 15-20% coming out of his bank account for taxes. Minimum.

The side gig economy has been a blessing in disguise for Republicans. Millions of people that were completely unaware of taxes, just sending in a W-2 to HR Block are now getting educated. Your Uber driver is now like, WTF is all this shit? Even talking about dumping the payroll tax would convert millions of people to Trump. Hence why he's doing it. Won't happen, but good strategy.

Reagan was polling something like 8 points behind in the polls in 1980 and still won a huge electoral landslide, only eclipsed by his re-election.

When you factor that the average IQ of the American public has declined by at least 20 points in the last couple of decades, i think all prediction bets are off. You can't assume that thinking people are making prudent decisions any more. They are just as likely to run off a suicide cliff, and the baleful puppet masters might be correct.

I suppose the only consolation is that if Biden/Harris win, that Democrats never keep their campaign promises, almost as a matter of sociopathic pride if nothing else.
