I see no “letting your guard down” as you say it. Just traveled through 3 airports over 2 days. Everything was spotless. Boundless opportunity for hand sanitizer. 100% mask wearing and even a lot of plastic face shields. My anecdotal evidence from the past is maybe 6 in 10 wash hands, maybe. I’ve yet to see even a small child not do it now.
The resort I’m at takes all the remotes for TVs, sanitized them and put them in a little baggie. If anything as entrepreneurs see opportunity to make money off this new hyper “clean” industry, we’ll see less spread. Either way cat is out of the bag and if your area hasn’t been hit hard at some point, it eventually will be.
Also, we’re now talking about a 3rd wave? When did the 2nd one happen? Cases don’t matter as more people are getting tested. Deaths and maybe hospitalizations are really the metric to measure “waves” of this thing.

The 1917 Spanish Flu pandemic was the Commies, and the Proggies doing a power play to take over the world's governments.
Covid-19 is just a replay from that same playbook.
International travel in 1917 was not as wide as it is now. Even domestic travel shouldn't have been enough to spread Spanish Flu all over the US, and into the interior of large Countries like it allegedly did. But it did.
Back then there was no Twitter, no Facebook, no YouTube, no easy instant pictures to go viral. So it was very easy for the Proggies, Socialists, and Commies in a region to say 10,000 died in a week in a small town. The news would spread and terrified people in other towns and states to fall in line and wear the mask.
People were just as big of Karens as they have proved to be now.

It's all about what is not being talked about; a demented (maybe two) and corrupt (definitely one) presidential candidate, why the deadly virus isn't killing too many lately, and the fact that governments around the world are imposing draconian restrictions on their citizens in the name of making them safe.
Remember way back when this started? It was to be a two week lock down to flatten the curve so that the millions that WERE GOING TO DIE!!! wouldn't overwhelm the hospitals. It took 3 cops and 2 boats to arrest a lone stand up paddle boarder. Fools hoarded toilet paper.
What the fuck? This is fascism plain and simple. The worlds governments have always used an enemy and war to gain control over their people. How convenient that this enemy is invisible.

For those who are not familiar with Rick Bright’s crimes, here are the facts:
The CDC’s own research showed that “Chloroquine is a potent inhibitor of SARS coronavirus infection and spread” (Virology Journal, 2005).
For that reason, the US had a national stockpile of chloroquine in the event of a SARS coronavirus outbreak.
In 2020, there was a SARS coronavirus outbreak. So the President of the United States ordered Rick Bright, then the Director of the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA), to release the national stockpile of chloroquine.
Rick Bright refused to release the chloroquine from the national stockpile because he decided it was unsafe even though it’s on the WHO Model List of Essential Medicines and has safely been used billions of times around the world.
Bright was soon pushed out of his job. It is unclear why Trump failed to then send in the military to distribute the chloroquine instead. Someone (Jared Kushner? Scott Gottlieb? Deborah Birx?) must have gotten to Trump in the meantime.
Bright then declared himself a “whistleblower” (which makes no sense) and he was warmly embraced by the Media Industrial Complex because he looked the part — a beta male, clueless, and raging with Trump Derangement Syndrome.
By any objective measure, Rick Bright killed tens of thousands of Americans through his illegal and unscientific action.
No evidence has emerged in the last five years to exonerate him. Other than Tony Fauci, Ralph Baric, Peter Daszak, etc. who created SARS-CoV-2, Rick Bright is the man most responsible for its spread and death toll in the United States.
Rick Bright is one of the most heinous mass murderers in history. If the rule of law still existed in this country Bright would have already been prosecuted for crimes against humanity.
Now Rick Bright spends all day every day trying to create a panic about bird flu to turn that into the next pandemic. His profitable hysteria is welcomed by the pandemic industrial complex and he is given a platform to spread his lies by the mainstream media.
Rick Bright’s actions show that he knows less than nothing about public health. He cherishes a certain left, postmodern, bougie ideology and rejects scientific evidence that contradicts his worldview. We are seeing what is called "A Third Wave" of coronavirus infections coming. (Just as happened with Spanish Flu.) A new vaccine will not be ready for many months. Many new infections and deaths are sadly coming. We are also seeing a phenomenon called "pandemic fatigue." People are getting tired of all the restrictions that stop them from seeing friends and family and enjoying the normal life that we all had. They are tired of wearing masks and gloves in some cases. They are tired of washing their hands 20-30 times per day. People start to "let down their guard." They get infected. What happens to one afterwards is like playing "Russian Roulette." You might feel mild discomfort. You might be on bedrest for two weeks. Or you might end up in the hospital and run up a massive hospital bill. In some cases, you might die.
