Me too. One of my favorites is Montreal steak seasoning on chicken done in a smoker. Then I chop it and make a buffalo chicken caesar salad with it. It's legit.

Return to industrialized Chicken farming. Free roaming chickens is far worse for you, even if they make you feel better about the Chicken's feelz.

Chickens used to be raised in a 3 x 3 space all of their life, fed nothing but natural grains, and spend a few months doing nothing but picking feed out of a feeding trough, occasionally standing and flapping their wings. Which made their thighs and wings tough.

Now they are in a huge open area confined in a roving Chicken pen, the chickens are constantly moving, which burns calories, so they are fed hormones and steroids to bulk them up, or they would be skinny and not bring much to market. When they first started the new "Humane" way of Chicken farming, preteens started forming fully developed breast by age 12. I remember my daughters back in the early 2000's when they were that age, they were developing because my wife cooked chicken for most meals. They had friends who's parents were vegans, and they were flat as a board. They didn't sprout until 15 to 16.

The industrial chicken open farming, the chickens walk most of their lives, the two most used muscles is their breast and their legs, which is why they are now the toughest part of the bird. When chickens walk they thrust their heads forward, and they kick their drumstick out like Goosestepping. The thigh hardly moves it is used to stand and sit, which is why that muscle was used most in caged breeding.
