I can't stand NPR, NY Times, CNN, NBC, or Fox.

Looking for some news service which is not about promotion of sodomy, mass accusations of racism, or hate for those who question the liberal-woke oligarchy's power.

I haven't found one yet. Even the BBC seems kinda corrupt now. The mass media has completely discredited itself over the last four years.

What can I listen to at 5pm or 6pm each night which has some respect for the ability of the listener to tell propaganda from news? Is there anything at all?

Doesn't have to be a podcast specifically, just audio of some form.

What? AF's shares aren't enough for you?

I've been listening to Rising these days, but as the name indicates, it's a morning show that covers the previous days political news. One co-host is from the right and one is from the left. Not sure how long this will last...

Tim Pool. That guy is good, neutral.

Stuff in right that’s funny is Hodgetwins and Louder with Crowder... of course that’s not neutral.

John Batchelor is good, his show goes about 4 hours, but you can listen to individual segments:

https://johnbatchelorshow.com/
(Better organized format: https://audioboom.com/channel/johnbatchelor )

His show has the same vibe as the old Wall Street Week with Louis Rukheiser(sp?) or All Things Considered back 30 years ago, but with a nice mix of Foreign Policy, Domestic Politics, Science & lots of Space Exploration, etc. but little Cultural Crap and no Wokey-Dokey.

His recent show is Gordon Cheng (long time China skeptic), Andrew McCarthy (talking both about the Dem Fraud AND about how Dem States have tried and succeeded into making Attorney Generals into policy makers - almost second Governors, Domestic Thailand Politics, Ariane and China's Long March Rocket delays/issues, Origin of COVID with a virologist, Cardinal Dolan of NY Archdiocese and Cuomo's falling out, CCP foreign policy, State departments' reflexive anti-Americanism/Not Invented Here attitude, Biography of Alvin York WW1 Hero, etc.

He was very anti-Trump but over his administration became a 'lite' supporter.

Timcast is good. Timcast IRL is more poorly controlled than the kids on the old Romper Room show. I give up after watching the first 5 - 10 minutes.

Yeah that one. Didn’t know about IRL show.

wearechange.org has some good stuff every now and then. Also truth in the media with Ben Swann.

Thanks for all the suggestions.

Not looking for analysis as much as objective fact reporting

Ideally, it would just be a half hour audio of "what happened today" without selection bias of stories implying "white people are bad" or "sodomy is good".

Hell, I could do it myself, but it would probably be a full-time job. I wonder if it could be a viable subscription-based business, where the current day's audio is $5/month, with all previous days free so people could checkout the quality before subscribing.

Yeah Timcast is good for that. So far he’s pretty neutral reasonable.

You may love this or hate it.

That's done daily by what many would consider a crank which I do not though. He's very pessimistic though and you may not be able to handle that point of view. He's like F it, this is how I see the world.

This is his main webpage:

http://www.whatreallyhappened.com/

Yeah, very dated, 90's level of junk on the page. I don't find the news articles to be so useful, what is most interesting in the radio show are the opinions of other people over the nation.

20 A neutral nightly news cast requires a neutral audience base. And since no such animal exists regarding that requirement....GOTO 10

That's soooo BASIC!

News from Asia is pretty good these days. Not the commie news but stuff coming from Philippines, Taiwan, India etc. They report in English about events in the US and International News.

When I used to get OAN on utub they had hourly 'news' that wasn't opinion sandwiched in between opinion pieces.

@Patrick

Some examples:

- maybe some of our Indian friends can vouch for the veracity of this outlet?

- New Tang Dynasty

Sucks that our own media is so captured. To lighten up that fact might I post some videos that remind one of the early 80s before all this shit went so downhill:

How about Dave Rubin? He's more talk-show than news show, but worth a listen from time to time. I think the's trying to do more and more reporting on news now that the mainstream outlets have fallen so far.

But maybe there's a more important point: The "investigative news" of the old days seems nearly gone. The little investigation that actually occurs is just got'cha reports and any additional half-truths and one-sided reporting complaining about Trump.

Huh, he has a dial-in number to listen to his podcasts. I hadn't heard of people doing that.

His Wikipedia article is locked of course. There needs to be a second Wikipedia where no article is locked.

In fact, you can judge the objectivity of Wikipedia articles by whether they are locked or not. Locked means: "Propaganda here, your input is not wanted"

Rising is/can be balanced if not neutral. However it’s obvious that Krystal (lefty) runs things and Saagar serves at her sufferance. If she has a strong opinion, he won’t contradict her.

Scott Adams used to be pretty neutral and might be again someday. He has some insights on news that are unique and can’t get them elsewhere.

Epoch Times seems like the most neutral news source right now but it does require a subscription.

It used to be common practice for some radio stations. For example KQED used to have such number where you could dial in and listen to their live stream up until at least 2010.
