In an attempt to get of politics what's your favorite beers these days? Any brewers out there?
For me I'm all over the map, from IPAs to largers and even the occasional sour, but right now my #1 has to be Troegs Mad Elf since its a sure sign that the holidays are approaching.
I do a bit of home brewing on the side and one of my better brews (based in feedback from others) is a chocolate cherry stout. Im overdue to make a new batch for this holidy season.
Craziest beer I tried to make was a peach / mint brew earlier this year that frankly showed surprising promise, to the point that I'd probably make it again next spring
Call me an anti purist, but most of my more creative concoctions have had some sort of fruit in them. I like playing around in the kitchen seeing what crazy flavor profiles I can come up with. Some have been good, others not so much. My attempt at an apple pie larger last year was underwhelming.
So, back to some decent commercial fruit beers. Here are some recent ones I approve of that I can remember at the moment -Two Pitchers Nordic Jam -Samuel Smith Strawberry Ale -Sam Adams Cherry Wheat -Bud Light citrus (all are good) -(can't remember name) Double Raspberry Marshmallow Shake
This Ukrainian white beer called "white lion" is my all time favorite. I was only able to find it in a tiny Ukrainian deli in Chicago. Haven't had it in years
