I made 2x in 2 month! We are in ultra bullish conditions. Institutions are pouring in millions and millions of USD into Bitcoin and no end in sight.

This might be a really big year for Ethereum.
Institutions are starting to buy Ethereum besides Bitcoin and google trends show enormous Ether interest.

https://news.bitcoin.com/nasdaq-listed-greenpro-capital-to-set-up-bitcoin-fund-using-a-100-million-loan/

"Meanwhile, in addition to BTC, Greenpro Capital says it also believes that “other top cryptocurrencies such as Ethereum will provide the opportunity for better returns and preserve the value of our capital over time rather than holding cash.”

Out Bitcoin haters are having a field day because we finally got our needed correction in crypto.

Every single correction in Bitcoin over the past decade was a fantastic buying opportunity. You just cant go up by over 12,000,000% in a straight line. That wouldn't be healthy. Corrections and consolidations/accumulations periods make it healthy.

89   Misc   2021 Jan 11, 7:39am

The NASDAQ went down 70% at one point. Are you saying Bitcoin might follow that?
90   Bitcoin   2021 Jan 11, 7:56am

Misc says

@Misc
I am saying that in the past 10 years Bitcoin went up by 12,137,108%. Its healthy and needed to have corrections along the way. Where is the fun in just going up in a straight line. Bitcoin is very forgiving to those that came late and missed the Bitcoin train. Corrections are a chance to jump on the train and are also a fantastic buying opportunity for digital gold coin holders like me.
91   Misc   2021 Jan 11, 7:57am

I have serious doubts that you will be staying around pumping Bitcoin after it falls 35%.

@Misc
I can't "pump" Bitcoin. Hedge funds, insurance companies, banks and Nasdaq listed companies have been pouring in hundreds of millions of USD into Bitcoin. I just have a couple of precious digital gold coins. I would invest hundreds of millions into Bitcoin if I had that cash.

30-40% corrections during a bull market are normal for Bitcoin. Normal and healthy. Its a buying opportunity. Buy the dip!
93   Misc   2021 Jan 11, 10:53am

So...it can drop another 50% from here and be healthy. I'm sure that's comforting to those trading geniuses who bought it at a much higher price than it's trading at today.
94   Bitcoin   2021 Jan 11, 11:26am

@Misc
?? you could have bought any Bitcoin top in the last 10 years and would have absolutely killed it.
If you are concerned about little dips along the way, maybe invest in a CD at 0.01% return annually.
8K to 31k in one year for Bitcoin. This little dip from today wont even show up when you zoom out.

95   Cash   2021 Jan 11, 11:37am

G be careful China miners could get smashed due to the execution of

China Three Gorges Corporation Limited, provides gigantic amts of electricity for China's BTC crypto miners. This will change the whole game for
an unforeseeable amt time.
96   Bitcoin   2021 Jan 11, 11:57am

I am loving the dip. Planned to buy more for a while
97   Misc   2021 Jan 11, 12:05pm

It would have given you more credibility had you placed the comment that Bitcoin's price could drop 50% from the $31k price you were touting, and that a drop of that magnitude would be considered "healthy".

You should have placed such a disclaimer on post #1.

Yes, a drop of that size would certainly show on Bitcoin's price chart.
98   Bitcoin   2021 Jan 11, 12:15pm

@Misc

here the disclaimer:
Bitcoin is up from 18k on Dec 11th to 31k on Jan 11th. WOW! What a performance....in ONE month.
This tiny dip today wont show up anywhere on the charts if you zoom out.
Corrections are needed and healthy. You must be new to investing.

Why is crypto taking a massive dump? Why are so many bag-holders getting fucked up the ass?
100   Misc   2021 Jan 11, 12:35pm

As an additional warning ... nobody says Bitcoin can't go negative in value.
101   Bitcoin   2021 Jan 11, 12:37pm

nobody says Bitcoin can't

be at over 100k within 2021

@Misc, fixed it for ya :)
Its cute & normal that BTC haters are trying to spread FUD (fear, uncertainty and doubt). BTC reversed its gains today that it added over just the past week. Its a nothing burger.

@G36 If they're not talking about you specifically, it's not personal. Please stop flagging it.

I am a Bitcoin holder, so it does seem personal. But I understand, just think that kind of language is not necessary as it doesnt lead to a productive conversation.

Wow. Your reported me? Lol ok.
105   Bitcoin   2021 Jan 11, 1:11pm

@porkchopexpress. Pls dont polute threads with spam and that kind of language.
If you have investment specific questions I may help you get started. I understand that people who have missed out on Bitcoin are getting easily triggered and emotional.
See it as a learning experience: Take emotions out of trading & investing. You'll thank me later.

107   Bitcoin   2021 Jan 11, 1:30pm

Look who is back @WookieMan,

are you the guy who predicated Bitcoin will be at 8k by Dec 2020 AND the same guy who would have sold everything at 18k?

muhahahahaha

Any response to why your forecast was off by so much? Selling everything at 18k doesnt seem like a good move considering its at over 30k as of today :)
108   WookieMan   2021 Jan 11, 1:36pm

I thought you said take emotions out of it? lol.
109   porkchopXpress   2021 Jan 11, 1:38pm

Caution: trigger zone. Someone needs a hug.

I knew you wouldnt answer the question. Like always :)

C'mon, talk about Bitcoin, or ignore this thread.

Let's not talk about each other.
112   Bitcoin   2021 Jan 11, 1:48pm

@ Bitcoin haters,
I know, today started so well for you. Finally Bitcoin was going to zero. All of you came out with your cheerleader gear and celebrated the 5,000th death of Bitcoin.
And now, Bitcoin recovered back to 34k and you got not much left besides being upset. Since years we see the same pattern. :)

114   Bitcoin   2021 Jan 11, 1:59pm

@WookieMan, @Patrick,
I believe Wookie is a moderator? He keeps posting on this Bitcoin thread just to troll. There is no intention to actually discuss Bitcoin. Just to attack anyone who invests in Bitcoin.

Who did I attack? G said leave emotion out of trading and investing yet he’s getting emotional about others posts. Just pointing out a fact. I just quoted what he said. I never addressed him directly. He then attacks me. Not sure how much clearer it can be. This is the first comment in a while I even mention his username.

You might want to stop bragging about crypto everytime unless you are a crypto salesman.
Try to add some thing different to make it interesting.
117   Misc   2021 Jan 11, 11:33pm

Whaddya mean rigged?

Here's a crypto trading platform looking out for the little guy. Simply invest $5000 into crypto and bammo a free $500 of crypto assets. Instant 10% gain. What's not to like?

It's his thread, not spamming or trolling on the threads of others. Just ignore it. (not the "ignore" option, I mean, just don't open it). Otherwise that's just taking the bait.

Exactly. Why troll someone else's thread if you have no interest in discussing the topic. And he's apparently a moderator but made several personal comments that were flagged. Not a good look.
Totally agree with B.A.C.A.H. "Just ignore it"

Huh? I was discussing the topic of investing in this very thread that YOU brought up. I was discussing what you were discussing G, not getting emotional. Can I not call a spade a spade?

Look at comment 106. I said nothing, just quoted some ironic comments. That's all. That's not trolling at all. Clearly you took it the wrong way, not on me. I can't please everybody. I'd give every user here a hard time if they posted the same. It's not trolling and it's not personal. Get over it.
124   Bitcoin   2021 Jan 12, 1:49pm

@WookieMan,
I suggest to stay on topic and leave all your emotions and troll posts out of it. Just discuss Bitcoin and if it triggers you too much, just ignore.
As Patrick said, discuss the topic not each other.
125   WookieMan   2021 Jan 12, 1:53pm

I WAS DISCUSSING THE TOPIC! lol.

Is quoting comments, ON the topic, not ON the topic anymore????
126   Bitcoin   2021 Jan 12, 1:57pm

@WookieMan
sry, I cant reply to the constant troll posts. Just keep it non-personal and discuss the topic and we wont have to flag you.
