We all know the Constitution is a founding document but few have occasion to read it. I just gave it a quick skim this morning. Then to go further down the rabbit hole, I read the articles of confederation that preceeded it. *** Thought experiment. If we had to rewrite a constitution from scratch today what would it say? What rights/ liberties / freedoms would be most important? Are any of the issues addressed obsolete in the modern era? Are there new protections that should to be enumerated given the interconnectedness of the modern world?
