The first amendment has been ignored for a while now, and I'm not just talking about speech.

The Constitution has been the most trodden document in D.C., as the Dems use it for virtue signaling while trampling it because few bother to even read it.

This was a big deal in colonial times. When a British unit came into a town the citizens were expected to give the soldiers room and board while they were there.

I get kind of lost after the 5th amendment, though I do know the 10th amendment preserves states rights over anything that isn't federal.

The first 10 amendments happened before the constitution was ratified. They are known as the "Bill of Rights" because our founders knew that if they were not enumerated they would be lost. Many states, including Virginia, would not sign without their inclusion.

Our RIGHTS are under assault. The 1st amendment has essentially been suspended. The second has been under attack for a century or more. The fourth is being violated by big tech and government daily. The other rights are under attack as well.

These rights are meant for We The People. Our government has been coopted by corporations that do not have our best interests. In the famous words of Patrick Henry, "Give me liberty or give me death"
