There is increasing evidence that the novel coronavirus is transmitted, at least in indoor settings, not only by droplets but also by smaller aerosols. However, due to their large pore size and poor fit, cloth masks cannot filter out aerosols (see video analysis below): over 90% of aerosols penetrate or bypass the mask and fill a medium-sized room within minutes.
The WHO admitted to the BBC that its June 2020 mask policy update was due not to new evidence but “political lobbying”: “We had been told by various sources WHO committee reviewing the evidence had not backed masks but they recommended them due to political lobbying. This point was put to WHO who did not deny.” (D. Cohen, BBC Medical Corresponent).
To date, the only randomized controlled trial (RCT) on face masks against SARS-CoV-2 infection in a community setting found no statistically significant benefit (see above). However, three major journals refused to publish this study, delaying its publication by several months.
An analysis by the US CDC found that 85% of people infected with the new coronavirus reported wearing a mask “always” (70.6%) or “often” (14.4%). Compared to the control group of uninfected people, always wearing a mask did not reduce the risk of infection.
Researchers from the University of Minnesota found that the infectious dose of SARS-CoV-2 is just 300 virions (viral particles), whereas a single minute of normal speaking may generate more than 750,000 virions, making cloth face masks unlikely to prevent an infection.
Japan, despite its widespread use of face masks, experienced its most recent influenza epidemic with more than 5 million people falling ill just one year ago, in January and February 2019. However, unlike SARS-CoV-2, the influenza virus is easily transmitted by children, too.
Austrian scientists found that the introduction, retraction and re-introduction of a face mask mandate in Austria had no influence on the coronavirus infection rate.
In the US state of Kansas, the 90 counties without mask mandates had lower coronavirus infection rates than the 15 counties with mask mandates. To hide this fact, the Kansas health department tried to manipulate the official statistics and data presentation.
Contrary to common belief, studies in hospitals found that the wearing of a medical mask by surgeons during operations didn’t reduce post-operative bacterial wound infections in patients.
During the notorious 1918 influenza pandemic, the use of cloth face masks among the general population was widespread and in some places mandatory, but they made no difference.
Asian countries with low covid infection rates, most of them neighboring China, benefited not from face masks but mainly from early border closures. This is confirmed by Scandinavian countries Norway, Finland and Denmark, which didn’t introduce mask mandates but closed borders early and saw very low covid infection and death rates, too.
German scientists found that in and on N95 (FFP2) masks, the novel coronavirus remains infectious for several days, much longer than on most other materials, thus significantly increasing the risk of infection by touching or reusing such masks.

FLASHBACK AUSTRALIA APRIL 2020: WHEN THE FACTS WERE OPENLY REPORTED.... THOSE DAYS LONG GONE

94   AmericanKulak   2021 Apr 16, 10:39pm

Of course Masks don't work.

The only way they could work is that scores of studies on viral respiratory diseases (from the flu to the common cold to SARS) and mask wearing, many conducted on vast scales, were completely wrong in finding no statistical significance between the masked and unmasked.

Watch as masks are continued during the Flu season: "Seattle had NO FLU DEATHS in 2020! All Power to the Mask!"

I'm basically convinced this is actually made up at this point. Not sure the end goal and who the players are. Obviously it came from China, so they're a player in all of this. Or are they? There's no reason/logic in any of it. Maybe that's by design. Confuse so the lie can't be found.

People that were close to dying, died. The horror of that. I'm very lefty/hippy that no human should suffer, but come on, these people dying are practically dead in 98% of cases. It's a global reclassification of viruses in my opinion. AKA the flu and some other conditions being labeled as Covid 19 deaths. Unless Covid 19 dominates and expels other viruses, the flu cannot just go away.

Wearing anything less than a new n95 that gets tossed and never reused is a joke. Why would covid be anything less than how you handle working around real hazards. Everybody wearing same useless little paper masks is far more hazardous, friend told about guy came into er with breathing problems fucking mask had mold growing inside it.

I have no doubt this has been nothing more than an attempt to exploit the seasonal flu for control and $$. By who? Personally, I believe it is 1) many many government agencies and politicians who want more control and $$. 2) many many international corporations for control and $$. 3) many many international organizations. Organizations like the U.N., the WEF etc. for the purpose of control and $$.

The Great Reset is code for...
"THERE ARE TOO MANY OF YOU AND YOU ARE TAKING UP TOO MUCH OF "OUR" RESOURCES".

Think it is unpossible? Think of how evil and greedy the human species is and then tell me there are not at least a certain percentage of us that have the mantra of...
"IF IT CAN BE DONE, THEN IT SHOULD BE DONE".

With the censorship I think it's this. This is why monopolies were eliminated in the first place. I think we're seeing a workaround now. Just because you have 3 different LLC's for social media, doesn't mean the investors aren't the same. Just because 3 big Pharma companies have a vaccine, doesn't mean it's not a monopoly of investment.

I think we're in an age where large investors can create a defacto monopoly by owning massive amounts of shares in multiple companies. Pulling the puppet strings on them all to create more wealth. This has always been going on to some extent, but it's not regulated and whales can get away with it.

This is totally anti American and against my libertarian beliefs, but there should be limits on overall ownership of multiple companies IF you have $X amount of stake in one company or a certain percentage. Remember it's not insider trading if you buy stock of a company you're about to do business with. You're not part of it. We've allowed shadow monopolies to be created basically. And then some of these people have control of large media outlets to double down on the narrative.

I'll go a little further and say that Corporations, as they are today, were never supposed to be. There is a great documentary called "The Corporation". In it, it shows how corporations were to have a charter for either a fixed amount of time or a fixed purpose. Once the time or purpose was over/completed, it was to dissolve. There is a very good reason for this and we are experiencing why. We not only fought the king of England, we also fought because of his corporations.

I don't disagree, I'd just say there are some pretty dumb dudes out there too. I'll come across as biased, but my wife is one of the smartest people I know. My dad and sister are/were attorneys (Dad is dead). Know plenty of doctors, engineers, educators, etc.

I'd agree though that the vast majority of women are behind. Men just like politics more and to be informed. Women don't remotely care as much. They don't really know what they're voting on. Part of the reason politics is so polarizing. It's not just party, it's men vs. women. Black vs. white.

The new sign at Trader Joe's reads, "according to CDC guidelines if you are fully vaccinated you may choose not to wear a mask".
124   Patrick   2021 Jun 24, 9:31am

Yes, and I tried it out and no one bothered me.

Looked like about 25% of customers didn't have masks, but more interesting was that about 25% of the staff didn't have masks either.

Still, we should never forgive or ever again trust our deeply corrupt CDC, NIH, and supposed "public health" county agencies for being part of mass economic destruction and "vaccine" murder. They know it's killing people right now for no reason but the profit of certain private companies.
125   Patrick   2021 Jun 24, 9:51am

Nor should we ever forgive or trust The Lancet, a formerly venerable journal which revealed itself to be a cheap political whore:

https://spectatorworld.com/topic/lancet-lost-trust-coronavirus-journals/

And even though the Lancet has carried some of the most important research on COVID Fauci Flu, it blotted its copybook by publishing, in May 2020, a paper by Harvard researchers claiming that the drug hydroxychloroquine led to a higher death rate in COVID Fauci Flu patients. Although it was catnip to those who wanted to get another one over on Donald Trump — an on-the-record fan of the ultimately useless drug — publishing the paper turned out to have been a terrible decision. The Harvard researchers had been given all the results from a dodgy company by the name of Surgisphere, and when they asked Surgisphere for the raw data to check some anomalies, they were rebuffed. None of the Harvard scientists, or the Lancet’s reviewers or editors, had ever thought to check the data before publication. It all resulted in another messy retraction just two weeks after the paper appeared.

Have to get out of CA. Masks basically don't exists in the fly over states anymore besides doctors offices and airports. Just did two nights at Red Rocks, CO with 9k other people. Didn't see a single mask. Any business or restaurant we entered, no mask required and no one wearing them.

The less densely populated areas and less super left areas had/have said fuck it for a while now. That you're entering a business still where 75% of people are wearing masks is mind boggling. They didn't do a damn thing from the get go. Cases should be skyrocketing, but they'll claim the vaccine is working. None of it does, masks or vaccine. Your immune system does. This has all been a fucking joke.
128   Onvacation   2021 Jun 26, 12:51pm

Current California rules (constantly changing) for High School students state that proof of vaccination to be submitted to school office. If unvaccinated, students, teachers, and staff, must wear a mask.
129   Patrick   2021 Jun 26, 12:52pm

Submit or be humiliated!

The key issue here is that the "vaccine" does nothing at all to prevent the spread of Fauci-flu, and probably lowers life expectancy a lot.

When people start dying from the "vaccine" in large numbers, I would not be surprised if the public starts hanging "public health" officials in large numbers for their betrayal of the country, truth, and human dignity.
