Anyone get vaxxed?

I know a few and they sound like absolute shit, and both feel like absolute crap.

Anyone else?

Why the fuck are people injecting themselves with a non-FDA approved biological agent?

And what the fuck are people afraid of, when this covid has a 99.97% survival rate?

I don't understand this level of retardedness... Or maybe I am just super, over the top, fucking retarded, that I can't understand this shit.

I've worked plenty of minimum or close to minimum wage jobs in my younger years, never expected any tips, esp. if I didn't render any services beyond what was agreed upon in the initial (low)-wage contract.

I've been lucky. Never had to work retail or food service. My first job was sweeping floors and cleaning toilets at the local bowling alley. Got paid a sandwich and a couple of bucks in quarters under the table so I could play pinball and pool when I was done.

The owner of this little 8 alley place noticed I had a mechanical aptitude so he taught me how to fix and maintain the pinsetters. That led to many other mechanical jobs including working on nuclear submarines for the DoD before I became a smuggler to put myself through college.

Never earned tips.

I'm not saying serving/waitressing isn't a hard job, it's pretty tough, but then again, I'd say being a cook in a greasy unventilated kitchen is far more brutal and unhealthy. I used to delver "free" "newspapers" with ads nobody wanted (except for a few old folks), did care and entertainment (close to a nurse job) for old/disabled people (in the most hardcore cases incl. changing diapers) and/or cleaning their homes and/or cooking for them, etc. etc. All for a relative pittance. Didn't get many "tips", some of the old and disabled people were so dissatisfied with their life that they let their anger out on those helping them, how's that for tips. Just don't expect me to shed a tear for waiters and bartenders, it's a service job like many others, but likely a more interesting/desirable one as you get to meet a lot of people, even if the base pay is low.

I've already addressed this incorrect "belief" in a response to you - you simply ignored that you are demonstrably wrong:

Wrong....I just continue to believe something else. Just because we dont agree doesnt mean you are right.

It's totally fine if you dont believe me.

Don't be a douche bag and not tip though ;) These aren't normal times and people working at sit down restaurants are broke, especially in a state like CA that is poorly run. I don't care about past times. This is 1,000% different.

I guess from this thread being a decent human is done. I can live with that, but my judgement won't change. If you're too poor to tip because you have to pick up your own food because the government shuts a restaurant down you like, you're the problem in America. You should support fellow Americans that are small business owners and their employees. And if you can't afford a measly tip, maybe stop eating out and put gas in the car to get a job. That's always an option.

And I get tipping like Americans do is not normal in the rest of the world. The reason? Everyone else and other countries are selfish ass holes. There's a reason the world wars started in Europe. Go to Mexico and tip a little bit. You'll be treated like royalty as the Europeans bitch about service because they think they "deserve" good service just for showing up.

I think some of you guys need to get out of CA from time to time. Not move, but go somewhere else and learn reality. You're not living it.

Or you can use cash. Or swipe a card and pay 10%. Or 5%. Just don't be the cheap ass that won't pay people willing to work during a supposed pandemic.

I've never understood people that are anti-tipping. If you can't afford it, just don't go out to eat or have people make food for you. It's not complicated. Clearly you cannot afford it if you can't throw someone $10-20. It's not complex.

Apparently, confident of their ability to fully deceive the public at large, the Globalists are spinning some kind of bogus association between Covid 19 and Global Warming. This in preparation for whatever manufactured false flag 'climate disaster' they have planned in conjunction with their Global Warming meetings this summer in their ongoing attempt to erase all human rights. Obviously, the takeover of agriculture, the creation of false shortages and famines, are also part of the plan, to keep fear pumped.

There needs to be a storming of Davos Maniac Bastille soon.

Nope. I know close to a dozen restaurant owners and hang somewhat frequently. We go out to eat 2-3 times per week as a family or solo because of activities with kids. My wife was a server in college. All her sisters served. My one SIL serves still. MIL managed a popular restaurant and golf course.

Go own a business. Learn what it takes to keep employees or even IC's happy. Network with people and you'd be surprised who you meet and what you can learn.

My business now is for fun and I have no employees. The beauty of it is that a $20-$100 tip is a complete nothing burger. I'm not a cheapskate. It's the system we use in America. Servers can be paid less than minimum wage. The cooks are likely close to minimum wage. I'd rather be in charge of redistribution of my own wealth instead of government. So I tip well. This really isn't complex. Be a good human.

They can't do anything with it. They'd have to know your zip code 9 out of 10 times. Unless you're a regular at a local place, they're not going to know your zip. And the fraud protection on CC's is great. I've had CC companies initiate fraud claims I didn't even know about. We check the statement/account on all cards almost weekly.

Points are huge though at restaurants if you find a place you like. SW offer 3X's points at certain restaurants plus the point per dollar. So 4 points per dollar. We eat out a lot and one of the restaurants we like is a 4 banger. Annually just eating there 20 times will pay for 2 round trip flights.

Florida. Give me a minute to look up past flights and points. We've gone to Tampa for sure on SW points for about 4k/person. So 8k total. With kids, a beer and a cocktail we're at about $120 w/ tip at restaurants. 4 x 120 = 480pts. Eating out every other week at that place is about 12,480pts annually. Which we do along with other restaurants in the reward system.

Just bought a Callaway Epic Speed driver and got almost 2k bonus points through SW. All these points count towards the Companion Pass. We have two, so our kids fly free (not the nephew). I didn't pay more either for the driver. I theoretically got paid to buy it. Depending on flight I got roughly a $30 kickback. Could be as high as $60.

Lol. I don't need to be a server. I respect the industry and the people in it. Creates good work ethic at shitty hours, but most servers I know that get educated are substantially more successful than most. I know it because of family and people we know. Go ask a waitress in a city what they get tipped on half off wing night or 50¢ wing night. They're probably talking about you when they respond. I'd suggest you stay in your lane.

So I had to look up this Dr. Sherri Tenpenny from the video... Here is what I found:

1) "Dr. Sherri Tenpenny is an expert in vaccines and has compiled perhaps the best library of these contrarian vaccine papers, articles, abstracts, and trials in the world. "

2) She's anti-vaxx, believes vaxxes cause autism, and has a book: https://www.amazon.com/Saying-No-Vaccines-Resource-Guide/dp/0979091047

3) She is a licensed osteopathic physician and anti-vaccine advocate based in suburban Cleveland.

4) Wikipedia, straight up trashes her, but Wikipedia is beyond left and reading her bio, it's clear Wikipedia hasn't look at the facts or science, or even latest examples of masking with our states: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sherri_Tenpenny

All in all, she sounds pretty credible, seems well read, and if she's right, we're only beginning to experience problems. Covid is nothing compared to what's coming.

Here are two examples. Didn't go to Jamaica because my nephew didn't have his passport, but it was a booked flight. That was supposed to be spring break. Jamaica was a huge deal point wise, so still pissed about that. And I know I got blowback here about crime. It would have been fine.

We go out to eat a lot. My wife also hosts dinners well over $1k. So we do have a unique situation. But, the average person should have no problem getting 2 free flights a year if they seek out the bonuses. I know CC's are not everyone's cup of tea, but I've gotten $5k+ in tax free benefits over the last 4 years or so. Does take a bit of work, but when you factor the average family (not anyone here likely) only makes $65k/yr, it's a good deal. You have to buy food, gas, clothes, go out to eat, etc. anyway, so why not get paid back. Look for where the bonuses are and you no longer pay for flying.

SW is the best deal going if you like travel domestically, Caribbean or Mexico. Hawaii too now, but fuck the Covid restrictions there. Time the companion pass well and you've got ~20 months of free travel for a spouse or kid. Basically they're free if not familiar with the CP. Catch is you need to be close to a major hub for it to pay back the best. I benefit from being near Chicago big time being centrally located and plenty of non-stop flights which is a biggie for us.

Edit: Whoops, forgot the screen shots.

This one(s) is just too god damn new. For something that won't kill my kids or someone my age in even fair health, I'm taking a hard pass for 5 years. I don't take the flu vax anyway and I've gotten the flu. You're down for 2-3 days max. It sucks, but in hindsight it's nothing. And other flu strains kill people to this day WITH vaccines that are FDA approved.

We've always been selective vaxxers. Look at the vax risk and if it's really needed. My kids are mostly vaxxed and we did a delayed vax schedule due to potential autism risk and to space out the numerous injections as to go easier on the body. I do agree that traditional vaccines can provide value with little risk.

But yeah, there is nothing known on this covid shot yet - and too many side effects - not to mention adverse reactions that are becoming known.

Another good reason to tip in cash is that it's off the books, or at least up to the server to say how much they got.

Cash is much more valuable to the server than a tip on a credit card.

I'm fine with that. Not my place to tell/judge someone what they want to put in their or their kids bodies. I'd only question a proven vaccine and why someone wouldn't take it. I DON'T trust this vaccine(s). It's now being played the J&J is a different type. Yes, but that doesn't make the other vaccines any less shitty. We have no clue.

Putting out 10's of millions of vaccines is no small feat. Just production wise, fuck the research. This happened in under a year. It amazes me how many people (their right) are willing to put this shit in their bodies with almost no evidence.

Cases are increasing again here in IL with a high vax rate. Data and math says that's not possible if close to 1/3rd of the state has been vaccinated. But it doesn't add up with how many have been vaccinated. Spring break is not an excuse for increased cases IF the vaccines work. It should be plummeting.

I'm genuinely concerned for some friends/family that have gotten any of the shots. Wife is out for now with J&J pause (thank god), but the vax shamming is going to be rough. I give zero shits about telling people to fuck off.

You're overpaying for shit food. CA has some of the worst and most overpriced food of any place I've visited in the country. A user here recommended a place in Palm Springs I'd been to. Pure shit. Also a bunch of gay vegan and you have to eat healthy type places that fucking suck. CA is not a foodie destination by any stretch.

Go to Chicago, NYC or the South for good food. I think Patrick would agree with Chicago being a good food town. I know we have some Southerns and a few East Coasters. You need to get off the bike or your dog and check out other places. You're talking out your ass at this point. CA restaurants are pure profit with high real estate expenses. So they skimp on the food itself. Authentic Mexican you might do okay with as your government is just chill with letting them in.

Yes, not like they could Google it

They'd have to guess which address is the one. I have I think 7-8 linked to my name. My name is also common as in something like Brian Smith. Good luck getting the transaction to go through after fucking up the address or zip so many times. Either way, I can call in and dispute the charge. Haven't lost one yet out of 8-10.

If you really want privacy and protection, change your name. Common first and common last name. I have it easy with a very common first name and a somewhat common last name. There's about 30 people with my same name in the Chicagoland area.

I did this as part of my past job. Finding someone with a common name was much, much more difficult. I generally had other information like an address too.

Remember the person grabbing your info has to have it shipped somewhere. Depending on the amount purchased, they may be looking at a felony. The vendor also has liability as well. CC's are the most secure form of money transfer. They want it that way knowing people won't pay it off and they can charge insane amounts of interest. They pass the fraud off to the merchant anyway or raise fees.
