People resigning at my office due to vaccine mandate
This is from my personal experience at my current workplace.

Our company enforced mandatory Covid vaccination by 12/1 and three people from my department have already left. Some left for religious reasons and others for political reasons.

One person was in a management position and was offered a promotion/raise in order to stay but he turned it down if it required the covid vaccine. He also has 2 young twins at home, so he is not in a position to necessarily take time off of work.

This is getting intense. Now I feel like a sell out for getting vaccinated and keeping my job at this company. This is so weird and I do not feel right about this.

As he shouldn't. Still pissed the wife got it, but was probably a matter of time before her company required it. Though the owners are anti-vax themselves (this vax), so maybe not. She got pressure by clients and peers. I just lie. No one has rights to my medical records. I'm honest with good friends if it is an issue for them and we talk about it. Most are chill. They're vaccinated, I can't give them Covid.... lo fucking L.

Wife has reacted well so far. Honestly everyone I know has reacted well. I just don't know the long term and neither does a single person on this planet. I'll wait. I also don't know of anyone with adverse reaction from covid beside one guy going to the doctor. No hospitalization. No deaths. Personally speaking.

Working to get in shape, which is really the best anecdote to covid. Have a classic life insurance exam for some big policies for business coming up as well. Might start becoming a big deal. We'll see. Generational wealth type stuff. This is my place to vent about this stuff, and I can imagine it might piss people off talking about it. But I'm f'ing excited. I'd love to share it, but I'd dox myself immediately to anyone that can search the web. Hopefully some big things coming for the wookie and wife. Like huge.
