I always wondered how India managed to stay together at all. They have so much diversity of people, language, and religion that it makes them very weak, unlike China which is 90% Han Chinese.

India is like all of Europe, East and West, made into a single country. I guess it was only the British that unified India, and that didn't even last long after the British left. (Pakistan) So I would not be at all surprised if they split more into a Sikh country, a Hindu country, a Tamil country, etc.

Sounds like a good thing.

Pakistan is not finished , they are homogeneous sunni. Few others as well.

India has just gotten freedom recently. Up to now it was run by communists who kept selling out country n resources till now. Hindu is name given by people outsiders who live in Indus River area. Muslim are homogeneous but hindu is general term,

22 states each has various different language, gods, tradition. Whichever new religion ( buddhism, sikh, jain , long list of others)comes out of it , if people do well they think they are better than rest. Yes agree that if muslim take over all different religions in hindu category will suffer. Farmer2021 is perfect example thinking sikh are better. Only issue is he has never been to India so he doesn't know jain think think they are better, Buddhist r better etc there r tons of sects, I know of 5 sects in just one city :) all saying one is better than other..

If India splits,Punjab n khasla will only exist temporarily. Just like west Punjab, where sikh were decimated by Pakistan/ muslim. Pakistan has attacked 3 x. Since Punjab is on border, it will die out first. Which will lead to punjabis migrating again into Indian states . Punjab is standing due to support from rest of India.

I think you dont understand why India is a country with a cultural identity instead of a political identity. It is deficiency in your western education and news cycle.

Western media is trying very hard to break India. You comment that pakistan formed after british in itself shows you dont understand the sequence of events. British split the country since they did not want India to become stronger post independence.

Many westerners wrote thesis why they think India will split into sub-nations within 30 yrs after becoming independent. But they dont know that british left a fragmented country and its the people(princely states) who made the country whole. Of course british forced the princely states.

There is no way to split the country since everything in interlinked. Khalisthan is a wet dream. Separate tamil land based on artificial AIT will also die down eventually.

I think pakistan will split first, then china. North-eastern part of India will separate first because it is completely taken over by christian missionaries.

India was fragmented as fuck before the British arrived. The British intervened at first only to keep their trading ports intact. Then they realized they control swaths of the Country. Indians were always killing their brother/uncle/cousin and trying to conquer the next state.

I have come to believe that Democracy can only work with a population that is morally sound and courageous enough to hold fast to ideals. A weak people will just vote for free everything, grovel before aggressors, and become impoverished quickly.
