You'd think Chipotle is flush with cash though not depending on any credit lines. OK they have 3 billion debt vs 1 billion cash, but at a net profit rate of 500MM/year that's just 5 years away from cash overtaking debt. There should be plenty of alternative financing.

Corporations are cowards. Money and threat to money would be the only reason they would engage a suicidal advertising campaign, under duress. You don't offend your majority customer base by elevating a reviled minority and rubbing it in their faces unless your hand was forced.

Corporations would not engage in self destructive campaigns of subversion and demoralization for political entities unless they were under threat.

Prager U. is great but I don't buy it. I think that particular vid is wrong, or it is looking at the wrong stuff in the wrong way.

I don't believe that consumers are indifferent to woke shit, because we see the 'go woke, go broke' phenomenon all over the place. I also don't believe that corporations are powerless to relieve themselves of these entities if they really wanted to, no matter how much they wanted to appease general sympathies.

I also don't believe that 'woke' minorities in employee pools could achieve such differential power without intimidations rising above board level. In profit driven corporations, a minority tail does not wag the dog, unless that tail is attached to even bigger dogs of political and financial duress. Corporations falling on their swords is highly unnatural. It will only happen if they see no other choice i.e. extremely high levels of intimidation, not a bunch of claqueing deviants.

When I had my business, if LBGT protesters decided to protest outdoors, I would never adopt a LBGT friendly policy and start putting rainbows in the waiting areas because most of my clientele would simply leave and the business would rapidly bankrupt. It would be insane and suicidal to the business. I would let them protest until they got tired and went away, rather than cultivate favor with a small segment of perverts while offending my regular clients.

I can only see this coming from the central banks i.e. Globalists and the political levels. If the city I had my business in came along and said they were pulling my permits if I didn't put rainbows in the waiting areas, and the banks all called me and said I could no longer have accounts or take loans, I would put the rainbows in and just hope that my business survived the phenomenon, even if I knew the chances were poor.

I don't buy food from chains. Never will anymore unless desperate on a road trip and need food. That's fast food or sit down. Have had Chipotle twice and wasn't a fan even though it's healthier than other stuff. I had to shit 10 minutes after eating it which is problematic and probably meant to clear out the b-hole from the OP.

Locally we have a Subway in town. We'll use it for parties for catering and easy food, but I never go there, even in a pinch. I go to the local restaurants. Walk in and they toss me my beer they know I like immediately, know my name, my kids names, etc. That will never happen at a Chilis or Friday's, etc. I also like cooking my own food.

Outside of town or traveling I always try to do local restaurants. Even it shows 2-3 stars. Fact is most people love frozen chain food and aren't used to real food. Wisconsin supper clubs are the absolute best if you've been.

Agreed. Another mark in favor is that controversy was courted by Media in the "Old Days", as a way of ginning up an audience. Have both sides go at it and get the numbers up.
