Missionaries make Christianity look cheap and desperate.

Christianity is biggest religion in the world and probably more influential than anything out there...But their desperation to find new followers while current ones are eaten by communists is most pathetic thing to watch on religious front.

Here is the loser missionary "paid advertisement" on Google.
You search something about any religion and they will show up with their pathetic marketing.
Christianity penchant to measure Jesus's dick with any other religions prophet etc. will eventually be responsible for its demise while the commies eat their lunch in west.
It seems these Christians are really unsure about Christ. As a Sikhs we are very sure about goodness of Christ as well as our gurus.

Why bring up these images? None of these people are Christians - also the real work is done by many small missionaries and voluntary workers in countless shitholes, those are Christians, not the famous assholes portrayed by the leftoid lamestream media. But fine with me withdraw them all, everywhere, you'll see many more things going to shit, let's start the age of isolationism ;)

This is for heavy bass who suggest citizens should fight with each other to strengthen red and blue elites.
It is never red vs blue.. always elites vs commoners.

In America you are free to criticize whichever religion you choose. However, don’t expect to be endeared to the ones whose faith you’re attacking. Bass and Wookie might believe sincerely that all religion is bunk, and I’m hard pressed to disagree. But FAITH on the other hand… that’s most often a powerful force for good and its one of the only things which allowed mankind to transcend the animal kingdom to become civilized and empathetic towards each other.
Be careful when you criticize a man’s faith, for he will most assuredly NOT appreciate it, and you may forfeit any goodwill you once would have received automatically.

That is good suggestion for smug missionaries who are spoiling the gentle and forgiving legacy of Jesus.

My apologies to religious folks here. As well intending as you may be, religion as I've said before is pure wealth extraction. It's created most of the worlds huge conflicts. Religion shouldn't be tax exempt. It should be taxed like the business that it is. Maybe I'm being hyperbolic, but it's true. Even the most well intentioned religion is pure shit.

We're lied to daily by our government and media, yet you somehow believe in religions with "leaders" that are fucking little boys and have massive wealth. I don't know, seems Epstien'y. All religions are cults in my world. If you've ever been put under, you know what death is... you just happen to wake up from it that time. When it actually happens it's over. Done. I'm continually amazed how dumb the human species is. We destroy each other over myths and fiction. Whatever.

You are completely wrong.
Religious people are most generous people with respect for fellow human life.
Fake religious leaders are hidden communists.

You simple Nematode, you sit back and laugh and call it Red Vs Blue politics while America buns?

While all you do is bitch about Guru vs Guru in India, bitching about the Hindu religion like the Sikhs are any better. From where I sit, you're dumber than any Hindu I've ever met.
At least they respect America and try to assimilate, they don't walk around looking like a fucking Q-tip deriding America and our politics. They have the fucking balls to pick a stance.
You're a shitty spokes person for your people.

Sure they might not be chopping heads off right now. But when you lack that much respect for other cultures and host countries. The bombs and acid in your face isn't that far away.

There are definitely examples of this in American Protestantism. But it's not religion that creates the conflicts, it's man's incorrect interpretation of it. Just like we do many things incorrectly. Instead of worrying about religious wars, you should worry about central government/central banking encouraged wars. Every conflict in modern history has been due to these elements.

Sikhs were all Hindus before, Hindus mostly believe in ahimsa , they even respect animals. Sikh were given refuge in India when Muslims killed n kicked them out of Pakistan. They lived peacefully with hindu community 500 years. Only sikh who took up arms against govt to create separate state were killed in civil war.

Other than random incident, sikhs are treated just like other hindu sects. Sikhs I met are wonderful.

Thanks guys, and I must say, to all of the Indians on this board, thanks for being spiritually intonated, to understand where my statements were spurn from.
I've never met an Indian Hindu or Sikh I didn't like or didn't get along with. Well except for this one Sikh that was dating a Girl I trapped in the Friend Zone with.
She liked him, because he had a Recording studio at his house. She would bring me along, he saw that was the friend that wanted to be more. And would go out of his way to be an asshole, when Trina wasn't in the room. It's comical in hindsight.

As for Farmer it's almost like he's Hindu or Muslim trying present himself as a Sikh, to make them look bad. Because even the asshole I told you about, wasn't this big of an asshole.

I am against violence. If you think it is OK for Hindooo elites to murder million s Sikhs and not question it…I think it is sad situation for free speech.

Yes Hindooo elites also play divisive game as it is not religion but conspiracy against Bharat like globalism against US.

It's all fiction. I don't care if one choses to believe in it. But let's be logical. All religion is fiction. No different than someone saying Pulp Fiction is the best movie ever and calling it a religion. All religion is based on made up stories to extract money from you. There really is no other argument against my statement. There's not a person on the planet that can verify anything in religious books and tales ever happened. It's all a lie. The books themselves are pure shit.

Religion is a money extraction system. Always has been. Look at the middle ages. The church was all powerful, in some cases more powerful than the monarchy. Crusades. I thought this was common knowledge. Rape and pillage on either side. Religion is toxic. Still is. But hey, people believe covid is dangerous, so I guess everyone gets suckered into some scam.

Faith and science are different.
We do lot of things for our soul and psychologically they are beneficial.
Religion has been force for good (Christianity especially in many cases) to modify our thinking in positive way.

Religion also gave strong fight to corrupt monarchs and communists. Sikh history is full of standing up to tyrants.

We also know “Santa doesn’t” show up, Bit it has huge positive impact on kids and probably make them generous in their life.

You have poor knowledge of history.
Sikhs saved Hindoo from Islamic tyrants. Some Hindoo became too uppity for being slave cult and Islamists decided to cull.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guru_Tegh_Bahadur

Anybody belonging to genocidal Hindoooo cult have no character and I don’t care what they think about Sikhs as their evil mind is always scheming for another genocide of Sikhs.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/1984_anti-Sikh_riots

Muslim and Hindooo are living in Sikh empire which was created after lot of sacrifices by Sikhs.
Exploitation based slave Hindooo cult member is unlikely to have good historical context.

I bet the thought of Valhalla where only the most courageous could go was quite the motivator for Vikings in battle, just as the believe in Jesus and Mary give comfort to the devoted Catholic.

It seems quite limiting to only believe in what your 5 senses tell you. There is more going on.

I agree, but I don't think that it's supernatural, merely not understood yet. Religions may have some kinds of understanding that will later be shown true. A trivial example is all of the Old Testament rules on hand washing, circumcision, no homos, and what foods not to eat. A lot of them reflect the reality of how disease works. People violate the rules and get sick or die. Ancient people observed these things. Seemed like God did it. And maybe you can argue it was God by defining God as the universe.

I think consciousness is just a property of nature that comes and goes according to conditions. I'm pretty sure animals are all quite conscious, even bugs in a limited way.

I swear my wife can often tell exactly what I'm thinking. No idea how she does that.

I think there is an irresistible force (love that song) out there and it is supernatural. While we have come to understand many things once believed to be supernatural each gain of knowledge comes with more questions that can't be explained. That circle will never end imo, no matter how much we'll understand.

I don't give anyone a dime. Not saying I never would, but I would have to be involved enough to be getting something out of the church first. God doesn't care how much money I give, just that I'm a good steward of what he's blessed me with.

When they excavated Jericho, they found that walls had fallen outward, not in. There are tales of a great deluge in every ancient culture. They have found pieces of the ark up on a mountain. There's also geographical evidence. Pontius Pilot and Jesus are both found in historical records. The Old Testament is one of the most accurate historical works ever produced. Way better than Josephus. Just the complexity of the earth tells us there must be a divine Creator. No system this complex could ever happen by chance, and anyone who's a programmer should know that.

All the rest you mention is again, man, not God. The problems you have are with man and his mis-representation of who God is. If you're gonna let that keep you from God, that's just sad. Personally, I would never let a bunch of idiots scare me off of something so important. But people's dumbassery doesn't have too much sway with how I live my life.

Most thought Troy was a legendary place until Schliemann found it.

David and his House was considered legendary by many until they found a reference to King Joram, son of Ahab, of the "House of David" being whooped by Hazael, King of Aram, on the Tel Dan stele - by an Enemy, so it wasn't the Hebrews bragging about their own myths. Two other steles from around that time confirm the House of David.

Lots of interesting destruction patterns going on around the collapse of the Bronze Age, and lots of stuff to far inland to be the Sea Peoples.

Joram did not follow God, and the Old Testament makes it clear his defeat was due to this. As a contrast look at Hezekiah and Sennacherib. By the time of Joram, Israel was split into two different kingdoms, and their fall from Solomon's time was pretty far and fast.

I hope Christian missionaries concentrate on “positives” rather than poking nose into another religion like Hindooo cult.
The purpose of religion is not to control people but to rather free them.
If Christianity want to become a “exploitation cult” it will end up same way haemorrhaging Followers like Hindoo cult as more people come to know that it is about control not delivering freedom.

Bro Hindus don't really believe in conversion. Farmer u truly lack its understanding. I have not heard of any process for conversion. Just like various food satisfy u, different people have different path to God. There is no official conversion process or ceremony for converting to the Hindu faith.

If u r interested , n understand higher level of spirituality u can join but no one will ever come n say convert.

Once you say there is only one way to do something, you kill off all other options and evolution of ideas.

That is a good philosophical question.
Do you want all 1billion to accept her? Or if 1 person accepts is it enough? or you want a majority 500,000,001 accept her its enough?

Someone does not become hindu just because other hindus accept them. They become hindu just by thought. If you follow Dharma you become a Hindu.

Now if you are asking will they accept her into their family. I cant say. But just her name will give her entrance to any home.

You're conflating two different things. I also believe science has been massively wrong. We're witnessing it over the last year or so. Literally masks didn't work and now they do. We can't get a vaccine and now we have 3 in record time. That was a year ago. You think someone got these stories right 2k+ years ago and transferred them accurately till today? Hell no.

NuttBoxer says

My above comment on science.

There are multiple religions. By default one HAS to be wrong. The result is fighting over fiction tales that results in people killing each other over things they "morally" weren't supposed to do.

I don't care if people believe or give to a church country club, but it's pure crap. Has nothing to do with science. But if you do give you're just giving your money to an empire and you're the minion. There will be no decision at the end. You'll be dead. Jews, Catholics and Muslims as religious bodies are probably 10X wealthier than the biggest corporation in the world. What is that money getting YOU if you're religious? Oh that's right, prime real estate and power across the planet for the elites in religion.

Sorry, I'm pragmatic and logical. Religion is a con. No argument can change my mind. Even history tells it was a con from the Middle Ages with Religion versus Monarchy. It's a power grab.
67   Patrick   2021 Jul 14, 6:02pm

In spite of religion generally being a money-making operation, I think it has clear benefits for adherents:

- a community to belong to
- a good story that creates a mental framework independent of leftist nihilism
- traditions which structure family life
- specific rules to follow which generally lead to a longer healthier life (religious people do live longer)

To throw out religion entirely is to dump the baby with the bathwater. Though I find it impossible to literally believe in any specific religion myself.

In the end human being by himself/herself and even as a community is too little to understand universe.
I find Big Bang and other theories too hard to understand , The math behind anti matter etc. is too difficult for average man to understand so we rely on experts and believe them.

Religion is very similar , If tries to describe something which is beyond human understanding.
(Sikh gurus talked about galaxies and thousand of stars 5+ centuries ago).

As long as religion or science is free of exploitation and tries to serve humanity .. It is good in my book.
