Why bring up these images? None of these people are Christians - also the real work is done by many small missionaries and voluntary workers in countless shitholes, those are Christians, not the famous assholes portrayed by the leftoid lamestream media. But fine with me withdraw them all, everywhere, you'll see many more things going to shit, let's start the age of isolationism ;)
In America you are free to criticize whichever religion you choose. However, don’t expect to be endeared to the ones whose faith you’re attacking. Bass and Wookie might believe sincerely that all religion is bunk, and I’m hard pressed to disagree. But FAITH on the other hand… that’s most often a powerful force for good and its one of the only things which allowed mankind to transcend the animal kingdom to become civilized and empathetic towards each other.
Be careful when you criticize a man’s faith, for he will most assuredly NOT appreciate it, and you may forfeit any goodwill you once would have received automatically.
My apologies to religious folks here. As well intending as you may be, religion as I've said before is pure wealth extraction. It's created most of the worlds huge conflicts. Religion shouldn't be tax exempt. It should be taxed like the business that it is. Maybe I'm being hyperbolic, but it's true. Even the most well intentioned religion is pure shit.
We're lied to daily by our government and media, yet you somehow believe in religions with "leaders" that are fucking little boys and have massive wealth. I don't know, seems Epstien'y. All religions are cults in my world. If you've ever been put under, you know what death is... you just happen to wake up from it that time. When it actually happens it's over. Done. I'm continually amazed how dumb the human species is. We destroy each other over myths and fiction. Whatever.
If that's all you hear, it's because your biased eyes are lying to you. You read two words in ,until you get triggered then bring up Sikhism.
But the same Sikh. "You hindus are slaves of Islam. You hindus dont know who you are. I will define what you are"

Sikhs I met are wonderful.
Farmer is worst spokes person for Sikhs. Like polish jokes, they have sikh jokes. I see now why they have sikh jokes. There few crazy Sikhs like this farmer nut

Elitist mother fuckers aren't they?
This guy has undone everything every Sikh I have ever met, that has assured me they are different than Muslims. They don't respect other cultures or other religions.
Sure they might not be chopping heads off right now. But when you lack that much respect for other cultures and host countries. The bombs and acid in your face isn't that far away.
Take your fucking turban off, if you say you're not like them.
What you have managed to do, if the Hindus started killing all of the Sikhs in India, and America is being called in to intervene. I will be like "Well hold on NOW!"
Lets not get involved in Guru vs Guru politics.
Congratulations.

Sikhs were all Hindus before, Hindus mostly believe in ahimsa , they even respect animals. Sikh were given refuge in India when Muslims killed n kicked them out of Pakistan. They lived peacefully with hindu community 500 years. Only sikh who took up arms against govt to create separate state were killed in civil war.
Other than random incident, sikhs are treated just like other hindu sects. Sikhs I met are wonderful.

Thanks guys, and I must say, to all of the Indians on this board, thanks for being spiritually intonated, to understand where my statements were spurn from.
I've never met an Indian Hindu or Sikh I didn't like or didn't get along with. Well except for this one Sikh that was dating a Girl I trapped in the Friend Zone with.
She liked him, because he had a Recording studio at his house. She would bring me along, he saw...
But it's not religion that creates the conflicts, it's man's incorrect interpretation of it.

It's all fiction. I don't care if one choses to believe in it. But let's be logical. All religion is fiction. No different than someone saying Pulp Fiction is the best movie ever and calling it a religion. All religion is based on made up stories to extract money from you. There really is no other argument against my statement. There's not a person on the planet that can verify anything in religious books and tales ever happened. It's all a lie. The books themselves are pure shit.
Religion is a money extraction system. Always has been. Look at the middle ages. The church was all powerful, in some cases more powerful than the monarchy. Crusades. I thought this was common knowledge. Rape and pillage on either side. Religion is toxic. Still is. But hey, people believe covi...

We also know “Santa doesn’t” show up, Bit it has huge positive impact on kids and probably make them generous in their life.
Onvacation saysIt seems quite limiting to only believe in what your 5 senses tell you. There is more going on.
I agree, but I don't think that it's supernatural, merely not understood yet. Religions may have some kinds of understanding that will later be shown true. A trivial example is all of the Old Testament rules on hand washing, circumcision, no homos, and what foods not to eat. A lot of them reflect the reality of how disease works. People violate the rules and get sick or die. Ancient people observed these things. Seemed like God did it. And maybe you can argue it was God by defining God as the universe.
I think consciousness is just a property of nature that comes and goes according to conditions. I'm pretty sure animals are all quite conscious, even bugs in a limited way.
I swear my wife can often tell exactly what I'm thinking. No idea how she does that.

David and his House was considered legendary by many until they found a reference to King Joram, son of Ahab, of the "House of David" being whooped by Hazael, King of Aram, on the Tel Dan stele - by an Enemy, so it wasn't the Hebrews bragging about their own myths. Two other steles from around that time confirm the House of David.
There is no official conversion process or ceremony for converting to the Hindu faith.
KgK one saysThere is no official conversion process or ceremony for converting to the Hindu faith.
As I understand it, that’s because it’s connected to the caste system which you have to be born into. Therefore the only way to make new Hindus is to breed them from existing stock.
indc saysAre you saying tulsi gabbard is not hindu?
Would she be accepted as a Hindu in India?
Faith and science are different.
The Old Testament is one of the most accurate historical works ever produced.
In spite of religion generally being a money-making operation, I think it has clear benefits for adherents:
- a community to belong to
- a good story that creates a mental framework independent of leftist nihilism
- traditions which structure family life
- specific rules to follow which generally lead to a longer healthier life (religious people do live longer)
To throw out religion entirely is to dump the baby with the bathwater. Though I find it impossible to literally believe in any specific religion myself.

Here is the loser missionary "paid advertisement" on Google.
You search something about any religion and they will show up with their pathetic marketing.
Christianity penchant to measure Jesus's dick with any other religions prophet etc. will eventually be responsible for its demise while the commies eat their lunch in west.
It seems these Christians are really unsure about Christ. As a Sikhs we are very sure about goodness of Christ as well as our gurus.
