I know you do the veteran thing and I respect that, but the wealth extracted by boomers should be handed back down to their kids that will have to try and repay the debt their parents borrowed. Harsh take, but reality. Philanthropy/donation gets stolen and squandered even in the best of charities. Giving your time is substantially more valuable than money which I believe is what you've said you do. I'd be cautious with any financial donation with any org as I recall you've said you plan to donate your estate.

I am personally done donating to charity unless I have control over the donation. I'll physically help out, but the ones I do support are not getting my money. Everyone lies is what I've realized. The extent of the lies is never found out in most cases or even questioned. It's charity after all. The cause will still be better with the money I suppose, but it's hard to see some organizations pissing away 40-50%+ of donations on administration.

I say seize it all, pay off the national debt off, abolish the Federal Reserve, and return to a gold standard.

Work with the books of a charity, and I guarantee you will never donate again.
3   Patrick   @   2021 Jul 14, 5:17pm

I want to see charities and religions document all of the donations and expenses individually. I want to know where every last penny came from and where they went.

I don't think any of them have ever done that.

When my children decided to throw their relationship out with their father, ... I'll spend it, and they can figure out what it's like to work hard for 35 years of their life, and see what they have to show for it...
when they see me, it will be too late to pull the knife out of my back.
... so when I see these court cases on media ...tv, tube.etc... Children, as well as parents throw family away, and I believe a throw away society will be a less then middle class.
Oh, I bet it can be fixed, but not in my lifetime...
My kids will not have any Debt as a result of me... they'll have their own debt from their own actions..\

I haven't had the chance to see the "real" books, but I get what you're saying. I will pay to attend an event I suppose if I'm golfing or getting a meal out of it. Some benefit. Done writing checks directly though.

He said I would find those responsible living in a van down by the river, eating cold ramen, rehydrated with piss they wrung out of their depends.
Those mean old bastards, how dare they, why can't they be more like Warren Buffet, George Soros, Warren Buffett, Joe Biden, Jeff Bezos, and Bill Gates?

I lived like a pauper while I was working for not great pay, sometimes with an asshole for a boss.
I took the slings and arrows from females who thought I was cheap, or broke.
Later they made fun of my wheels, and that I bought shit at Goodwill.
I was a fanatical saver and investor, and now I’m sitting pretty.
See a girl’s reaction when you show her your mutual fund accounts on your phone.
I don’t know what wookieman is talking about; boomers I know are still paying taxes and are often still working, I think they work because they’re afraid to stop.
I’m not working but lots of guys my age are.

Addendum:
I give some $ away at tax time, it’s also when I pay my “slave reparations”.
Looking at the cartoon above, I cannot fathom what the person on the right is, but it surely isn’t an “older American”, it appears like an androgynous Asian in its 30s.

Silver standard. Otherwise only a few with have gold, but give everybody bank notes for 10x more gold than the few actually possess. I agree with the core.

At the very least, all wages, salaries, and real property must be paid in physical precious metals - never in banknotes or any paper - including employers.

Yes he was! He was a petty sniveling bitter fuck, with an even dumber audience. He was a Comedian with a schtick that sold tickets, to idiots that reckoned him a philosopher.
He was funny at the time, but I cringe, at the way people recite him like he was teaching policy, rather than just doing a monologue for laughs.

His comedy worked because he was pushing boundaries by thumbing his nose at decorum, etiquettes and social expectations. Then he started bitching about Politics, without ever once getting involved. He Destroyed so much of our Society, and his comedy no longer works as comedy. Because the social idiosyncrasies he was playing off of, are not longer Social norms, and that's the sad part.

"Have a nice day..."
"Don't tell me to what to do!"

I mean that no longer works, because people aren't polite anymore. And that is the consensus a proper response.

What the takers forget is that wealth is really work. Not only that wealth is work above and beyond subsistence.

I have a lot of toys. I worked for them. Without the work I put into my toys they would POOF vanish.. Wealth confiscators don't realize that wealth is work. They want the wealth but they don't want to work.

He stole Don Rickels schtick. Don roasted people on a personal level, the comedy worked because the person being roasted was the straight man.
The audience was watching an exchange between two people. We laugh at others getting grilled and ribbed. George Carlin took Don Rickels comedy and turned it beyond the stage, or the audience, he was roasting society and the norms in social settings. Thumbing his nose at the rules and boundaries, roasting them as if they were on a Dean Martin roast special. It was comedy, now nothing he said works as comedy, but reads like a serious Marxist manifesto. It's dangerous comedy for dangerous times. Long gone is the gentry that his comedy skewered.

In this case, it shuts up her friends who tease her about hanging out with an older guy.

That is an idea I've had.

Record all donations publicly (because who doesn't want to have their name printed as donor to a charity?) and why would explanations of expenses be with-held - if it's really a charity?

Any worthwhile thing I did in "charity", I lost money on. I did dog rescue, somebody said that they didn't consider that "charity" (and it wasn't! I was finding a great pet at great expense - a remarkable pet) but at least one dog rescue group I was involved in went totally corrupt. Absolutely corrupt.

Couldn't have happened if the books were opened. Why would the books be closed? A true charity would be PROUD to demonstrate how the money was spent, and the donors would be PROUD of donating.

There are very little real charities. Almost all "charities" are corrupt.

Are you a baby boomer? I'm curious only to refine my thinking.

Every generation since then has gotten worse. Boomers were at the pinnacle.

I'm Generation X, since the boomers all I've seen is decline, it's OUR responsibility to reverse it.

There has been a great deal of neglect of the "greed is good" generation and our generation - which was "nothing matters". We are the new Silent Generation, it's a huge burden.

Why would we do this? You know that the globohomo deep state will just use these regulations to control their competition and consolidate their own power. For example if every church and charity has to give this accounting why should not every person and business be forced to do the same? And of course the wealthy individuals, businesses, churches and charities will find creative loopholes to hide their actual numbers while he little guy will be punished for not paying an obscure tax or something.

When will people realize that justice does not come through regulation. We must be governed by God (instilled in our hearts to follow His truths) or we will be ruled by Tyrants. Forcing every organization to account for every penny is Tyranny.

Which generation created the federal reserve? That was pretty fucked up.

Which generation killed Kennedy and lied us into Vietnam. That was really fucked up.

Which generation is in control now? They're the most fucked up in American history.

It's not about age. That is just a number. There is a group of people that have been fucking things up for the common man since before Columbus "found" the "new world". They are multi generational and have been accumulating power since time immemorial. They manipulate markets and ALWAYS have contingency plans.

They have taken population control into a new level by using behavioral science. "They" rub their hands in glee when we start blaming race, age, gender, or any of those other things designed to divide us. They are the puppet masters behind the scenes. The obscenely rich and visible like Gates and Zuck are merely front men to push forward THEIR initiatives.

Don't hate me because I am a boomer. That is playing right into their hand.

To argue a little with Wookie, all of the boomers I know tried to get by while the Arabs fucked the world economy up, Soviets threatened to destroy us, and unemployment, interest rates and inflation were each 12% or higher.
The job market sucked badly, so a lot of guys were scrambling for a career.
I know guys who went to college and ended up firemen, or went into the trades because there were no professional jobs.
Some became shyster lawyers for lack of employment.
Jimmy Carter scared everyone with his lousy speeches to make things worse.
The most capable guys I know are boomers, they might not be the richest.
Addendum
Several of my boomer friends worked at businesses that their parents owned although they had excellent education. They likely felt it was their only choice.
