For example, the standard increased child credit for those filing jointly increased last year or year previous to $2000. The increase of $1,000 to $1,600 on top of that is what MFJs making less than $182,000 are eligible to get based on age of kid, and only fully if your AGI is $150,000 or less. Now these motherfuckers at the White House sent out a letter in an official IRS envelope that states that individuals making more than the 182 cutoff are getting auto deposits of $166.66 every two weeks for the next 24 weeks starting July 15th. All that is is the std $2k being sent out to you before tax time, but they don’t say that in the letter. TPTB trying to make ignorant mofos feel like they are doing something for them.

I'm okay with some short term benefits if you got laid off, but people making $149k getting $300/kids is a fucking joke. Getting $5,600 earlier this year for a family of 4. My neighbors that don't understand birth control received $14,000 at the start of the year. They'll now get $2,400/mo for the kids. They kids never hang out with other kids.
