My high school senior is interested in learning video editing skills for school and college projects. Please recommend a windows based video editing software.

I put Gorilla glue on the camera on my Laptop. All video from the camera just look like a yellowish distorted haze.

I wonder if one could build a device so when the camera is accessed, the hacker just sees a video loop of Jeff Toobin doing his thing.
