Shaman saysWithdrawing from Afghanistan is the right thing to do.
I agree. Our only interest there should have been getting Osama, and we did that.
Let them have their country. It's not our problem.

Right, I think there is no limit to the corruption of the corporate press.
Just look at the evidence of Biden's corruption, such as abusing the office of vice president to ensure Hunter's pay by Burisima in the Ukraine.
And the evidence of Hunter's corruption as documented on his laptop, such as taking bribes his father in exchange for control over in US foreign policy.
And the people that watch the corporate press have no idea what is really going on. If someone documents the corruption and shows it to them, they will dismiss is as "racist white supremacist conspiracy theory".
Because to admit the truth would be very painful after pinning all their hopes on Biden as their "savior" from Trump.

Well, Domestic Terrorisim is our NUMBER ONE THREAT.
Some of us wondered what they intended when they created the U.S. Northern Command in 2002. It indicated that the continental United States was being considered as a potential battlefield for the first time in our history.

Trump would have drawn a clear line in the sand that he'd carpet bomb the shit of the taliban if they tried any takeovers and oppression of peaceful folks. And that strategy works, less nation building, more deterrence.
Osama was the problem; there was no reason to stay in Afghanistan even for a day after his dead body was dumped in the ocean.
Only if Biden were GOP would the media be screaming "Biden Lost Afghanistan" type headlines.
How the US military got rich from Afghanistan
From Korea onwards, falloffs in spending have lasted little longer than the parades for returning troops

For decades, Joe Biden has touted himself as a foreign policy genius. As a United States senator, he never had to make a decision or bear responsibility for running off at the mouth. As vice-president, he was given backwaters such as Ukraine that he reportedly turned into a family piggy bank.
But now he is president. He owns the utter disaster that Afghanistan has become; and the sudden about-face of the Pentagon to send 3,000 fully-armed combat troops back into the fray shows that even the woke military bosses Biden installed can wake up and smell the coffee.
Would Donald Trump have done this differently?
Remember that Trump fired Ambassador John Bolton as national security advisor when Bolton openly rebelled against Trump’s decision to negotiate a peace agreement with the Taliban.
Trump’s deal set a firm withdrawal date for U.S. combat troops — May 1, 2021.
Afghanistan President Flees Country as Taliban Enters Kabul
BY JACK PHILLIPS August 15, 2021
Afghanistan’s president, Ashraf Ghani, on Sunday fled the country as the Taliban terrorist group surrounded the capital, Kabul, according to a senior official, while the Taliban claimed hours later that it entered the presidential palace.

After losing American lives and dollars for 20 years, you STILL cling to this Rambo fantasy? The Russians had the sense to leave Afghanistan sooner.
I can still hear my A-hole brother in law 21 years ago as the second Gulf War was kicking off, loudly dominating my Niece's first birthday party with braggadocio about how "This is going to be such a CAKE WALK!" That, and "We're going to go in there and KICK THEIR ASS AND TAKE THEIR GAS! 50c a gallon soon thanks Bush!" He went on to become a huge prepper, Obama hater, Trump fellater, and QAnon deep diver, rich AF from having inherited a factory founded 3 generations ago, always bragging about hitting a grand ...
"Afghan President Flees, Biden Blames Trump For The Fall Of Afghanistan"
I don't know that it's true, but I read on patriots.win that 1,000 US military are now surrounded by 20,000 pissed-off Taliban.

How the US military got rich from Afghanistan
Joe Biden gets it wrong every time on foreign policy, and many other issues. Everyone knew he couldn’t handle the pressure. Even Obama’s Secretary of Defense, Robert Gates, said as much. He ran out of Afghanistan instead of following the plan our Administration left for him — a plan that protected our people and our property, and ensured the Taliban would never dream of taking our Embassy or providing a base for new attacks against America. The withdrawal would be guided by facts on the ground. After I took out ISIS, I established a credible deterrent. That deterrent is now gone. The Taliban no longer has fear or respect for America, or America’s power. What a disgrace it will be when the Taliban raises their flag over America’s Embassy in Kabul. This is complete failure through weakness, incompetence, and total strategic incoherence.
