As White House officials responded to Nicki Minaj’s claims on Twitter that the COVID-19 vaccine led to an adverse health problem, the rap star later said she is being targeted for asking questions about the shot and compared the phenomenon to the Chinese regime’s censorship.

Minaj, who has 22 million followers on Twitter alone, wrote on Monday that her “cousin in Trinidad” wouldn’t take the vaccine because “his friend got it [and] became impotent.” She also shared a claim from a man who said he developed a blood clot in his eye after getting vaccinated.

On Wednesday, Biden administration COVID-19 adviser Anthony Fauci responded to her assertion and told CNN that “there’s no evidence that it happens, nor is there any mechanistic reason to imagine that it would happen.” He added that Minaj “should be thinking twice” about making such claims online.

For her claims, Minaj, who added that she isn’t vaccinated, said she received significant criticism and suggested she’s now the target of a “cancel culture” mob for her tweets, asserting in an Instagram video that the phenomenon is similar to the Chinese Communist Party’s restrictions on visitors and citizens.

“I remember going to China and they were telling us you know, you cannot speak out against, you know, the people in power, there, etc,” Minaj said in an Instagram Live video. “Don’t y’all see that we are living now in that time where people will turn their back on you … but people will isolate you if you simply speak and ask a question,” she continued.

Before that, the rap star said the White House invited her to speak with Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy and Fauci about the vaccine.

“The White House has invited me & I think it’s a step in the right direction. Yes, I’m going. I’ll be dressed in all pink like Legally Blonde so they know I mean business. I’ll ask questions on behalf of the ppl who have been made fun of for simply being human,” Minaj wrote in a Twitter post.

But later, in the Instagram video, Minaj said that when she made the post about the White House invitation, an unnamed official called her back and appeared angry when she spoke about it publicly.

Minaj also said she was barred from using her Twitter account on Wednesday, although the social media platform said her tweets didn’t violate its terms and conditions.

(Fauci) added that Minaj “should be thinking twice” about making such claims online.

Now I'm more suspicious than ever that it is literally the mafia, as in La Cosa Nostra, which is running Pfizer and dictating to governments around the world that all of their citizens will get jabbed and Pfizer etc will have no liability whatsoever for mass death.

They might try but it won't work. Two black people I spoke to during the teachers rally are very aware of what happened to Hank Aaron and how the media trashed Nicki for asking questions. They're not forgetting any of it any time soon.

Apparently the health ministry of Trinidad/Tobago spent a great deal of fruitless effort attempting to track down the subject of her tweet. Shortly after this she reportedly tweeted praise for the vaccine, and claims she didn't state any facts about the vaccine and was in fact just JAQing off.

One of my favorite Triumph the Insult Comic Dog episodes is the one at that notorious Chicago hot dog stand. At some point he insults a black employee with, "You're like Nicki Minaj, minus the everything!"

Can you direct me toward your source for her "praising the vaccine" please? I took a look at her twitter and found nothing of the sort, as she hasn't posted since Sept 15th.

I didn't pursue this rabbit hole farther. Next step is finding out if that white house meeting happened, how it went, and what her position is now.

As we stand now, there is absolutely no report of testicular swelling in Trinidad — and none that we know of anywhere else in the world.”

Does T&T have a VAERS? It is searchable by NAME? Probably not.

I don't see any praise for the vaccine from Nicki even claimed in this article.

The T&T official was definitely lying at the time claiming no reports of testicular swelling. There were approximately 50 at that time. It's easy to check where those numbers are now.

The openvaers website doesn't plot testicular pain or anything but menstrual symptoms over time. It also doesn't state what population the dataset was collected from, but I doubt it's T&T specifically.

The thing about theories and speculation is, they're supposed to be PREDICTIVE tools. It's a lifelong iterative process, and every time you do it on every topic, you're programming your neural net. Every bit of false information you allow yourself to believe contaminates your internal worldview and makes your predictive abilities less and less reliable in accordance with the GIGO law. Trying to digest and classify new information among a bunch of corrupt information and gathering methods becomes the epistemological equivalent to following your Tomtom's directions uncritically all the way to the bottom of a boat launch ramp.

If the tweet channel stopped 9/15, what OTHER channels of information can be used to follow up on this story and see how it played out? Did she go to that white house meeting? Does T&T report officially recognized cases of testicular swelling in the country? Did Minaj or the officials NAME the person and confirm if the problem really existed and does it persist?

Without following up on these questions, in my opinion this story hangs in the "unable to assign a true/false attribute using currently available information" category.

That's a really long winded way of saying "I made up Nicki Minaj's praise for the vaccine."

When an official claims there no reports anywhere about something, and we know that's provably false, I call that lying.

When you say Nicki tweeted praise for the vaccine, and she didn't, I also call that lying.

Your standards for defining and applying basic words are as bad as your standards of evidence. For it to be lying on my part you would need to prove that 1. she did not say it and 2. that I was aware she did not say it.

You're trying to use and manipulate stale and incomplete information to come to a completely VERBAL PROOF of the current disposition of Nicki Minaj and her covid controversy. You're also engaging in SIGN language- shame, insults, guilt, need to be right- which is the way women operate.

The claim was that Minaj tweeted praise for people who had been vaccinated. The article cited for that claim is behind a paywall, and I don't use Twitter so can't go there to find the original tweet which sounds like it may have been deleted.

Right now the constellation of possibilities includes that her claim was true and she was silenced; that her claim was unsupported by proof and remains so, that her claim IS supportable by truth that has not been publicly disclosed, and a smattering of other possible states if one was to write out a logical truth table. There simply is not enough information to conclusively determine which is true.
