That's reason enough to never go and to dislike them. This goes for ALL the big chains, with a special shout-out to Chili's. All, and I mean ALL of them are huge foodservice conglomerates. I'll sometimes pronounce the word foodservice in a robotic voice to emphasize the artificiality and impersonality of it, like a monotone run-together Voodzerviz.

It's good that the Vets did some civil disobedience. More people doing this will help change the trajectory away from embracing authoritarianism.

Remember to fix the blame at the ROOT of the problem, instead of striking in vain at the branches of evil. Corporations like Cheesecake Factory made a Faustian bargain, accepting Covid relief "grants" whose fine print obligates them to obey Covid rules or those grants become loans now due with interest. They are (somewhat willing) victims, who could be made allies in this fight if we don't reflexively shit on them for following a foolishly entered contract.
