Went to a local pub last night (So Cal), and this place doesn't even have the PRETENSE of vax-mask B.S. - its was like stepping back in time before all this agenda-driven crap began. Upon discussion with bartender I was told that the only thing the so-called 'Dept Of Health' fruitcakes can do is come in and ask the patrons if the bar staff asked for evidence of vaccination, nothing more (they are not even allowed to ask for this info directly to the patrons themselves). If patrons answer 'yes', all is well and they can do nothing further - if they answer 'no' then the bar may be subject to fines. Bartender then goes on to say that these 'Dept of Health' fruitcakes have provided ZERO training on what an 'acceptable' or valid form of vax documentation even looks like - so someone can basically present the bar staff with a Costco card and say "yea I've had the modification". We then further discussed that it would be wise for such establishments to post signage to actually COACH the patrons on what to say and to further state that ALL medical & religious exemptions are honored - basically a freedom of speech end-run around all of this absurd authoritarian nonsense. No so-called 'authority' can possibly penalize them for posting such signs (1st Amendment)...
Huh. That’s interesting. I was just restricting my outings to establishments in OC. I imagine the LA businesses are hurting due to my sort of activity! And they need an end-run like this to stay afloat!
Yea I'm L.A. county near the OC border and prefer the sanity that O.C. provides. I hear Basillicos in Huntington Beach really flaunts the anti-mandate agenda like a boss!
