TN GOP House got some balls and just did away with the Memphis Blue Blob.

They divided it into 3 pieces, expanded it out into the burbs, and they should either be competitive or lean Republican now.

Missouri is being wussy and not going for 8-0 or even 7-1. Hold the Governor, Parsons, accountable, since the Legislature stupidly gave him authority.

Florida GOP is being overly cautious. We must have state & constitutional amendments clarifying that districting is 100% Legislative, and 0% Judicial, function. It must FORBID the justiciary from having ANY input on districting, or from even so much as hearing anything regarding districting. As Jefferson worried, the Supreme Courts have become the final decision makers in almost everything, when they are merely a co-equal branch.

Racial Bullshit is so profitable for Dems, it allows them to create ridiculous districts with minorities that are unalterable.

Wisconsin Supreme Court rejects bid to reconsider congressional maps before the 2026 midterms

WASHINGTON – The Wisconsin Supreme Court on June 25 rejected a request to reconsider the state's congressional maps ahead of next year's midterm elections, all but ensuring the current maps will remain in place for 2026.

The liberal-controlled court's decision, which was made without comment from the justices, marked the second time in the past two years that the court has rejected a push from Democrats to change the battleground state's federal maps. It is a loss for Democrats who sought more favorable lines as they aim to retake control of the House in 2026.

Democratic groups filed their latest petitions in May asking the court to reconsider the congressional map lines. Any change would have likely made two of the state's six Republican-held House seats more competitive for Democrats. Republicans hold six of the state's eight House seats.

Democrats in their challenge argued the current map was drawn based on a "least change" principle that they said the court abandoned when it struck down the state's legislative maps in December 2023. That theory refers to favoring maps that minimize changes to existing boundary lines.

Elias Law Group, a Democratic law firm led by Marc Elias, who has led previous voting access lawsuits in Wisconsin and across the country, filed a similar petition last year asking the court to reconsider the U.S. House boundaries, though the court similarly rejected that last-minute push.

This year's challenge came in the form of two petitions to the high court, which is controlled by a 4-3 liberal majority. Elias Law Group filed one petition, and the Campaign Legal Center filed another on behalf of voters.

The state's current congressional lines were drawn by Democratic Gov. Tony Evers. The state Supreme Court approved his set of maps in 2022 because it made the fewest changes compared to ones submitted by Republicans and others.

The U.S. Supreme Court in March 2022 rejected the state’s legislative maps, also drawn by Evers, but declined to block the congressional lines at the time.

"It's good that Wisconsin has fair maps at the state level, but we deserve them at the federal level as well," Democratic U.S. Rep. Mark Pocan said. "Unfortunately, gerrymandered maps for members of Congress will remain in Wisconsin.”

Republicans have cast the effort to change the maps as a "desperate" attempt from Democrats to win House seats.

Shortly after the court's decision, Republican U.S. Rep. Tom Tiffany responded to the news by posting a photo to X of himself with Republican U.S. Rep. Scott Fitzgerald holding beers and smiling. "Cheers, Scott," he wrote.

Wisconsin has only two competitive districts — the 1st Congressional District held by Republican U.S. Rep. Bryan Steil and the the 3rd Congressional District held by Republican U.S. Rep. Derrick Van Orden.

Democrats have targeted both seats as opportunities to flip in 2026.

Didn't I hear that these lines would be re-drawn now that the lefty Supreme Court Justice lady won and made it onto the court? That the mid-terms were over!

Yep. That is why this is such a surprise.

Question is, are the lefty judges watching their steps these days because they are seeing the storm clouds of retribution gathering? Has somebody in a uniform had a sit down with some of them reminding them of their oaths, purposes, and consequences?
