FAIRFAX COUNTY, Virginia – Fairfax County Public Schools made a show of defying Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin’s order that schools respect parental rights on masking on Tuesday, with an assistant principal standing in front of the school to suspend students without masks, and a public relations staffer who said the media was not allowed to watch the conflict between state and local governments play out.

At one classroom exterior door, a teacher in a dark mask and a full-face plastic shield resembled Darth Vader as she peered through the glass and, after seeing a masked child out front, opened the door a crack to let him in.

Providing muscle was a large security guard who inadvertently illustrated parents’ concerns by removing his mask to lecture a parent because “I can’t speak with this thing.” At another point, the security guard lashed out at a former school board member after his own mask caused his glasses to fog up to the point that he could not see who he was talking to.

Parent Carrie Lukas walked her two children to the front door of Forestville Elementary, their smiling faces visible on school grounds for the first time in two years. She did not make it to the doorway before she was confronted by an assistant principal, who said the children would not be allowed in the school. Security guard Christian Fuller followed as they retreated to their car.

Daily Wire

A Fairfax County “media liaison” demanded that a Daily Wire reporter leave as he wrote down the polite words exchanged between Lukas and the assistant principal, saying the journalist must go to what she deemed a “media staging area” in a residential neighborhood about fifty yards away. There were no other media present.

Fuller then called the police, saying they would arrest a reporter for being in the school parking lot. Former school board member Tom Wilson, a Republican, intervened to express First Amendment concerns, saying “we’ll see,” to which Fuller replied, “Are you threatening me?”

Two undercover police cars and one marked patrol car soon arrived at the scene, where they were met by the “media liaison” and Fuller.

By then, Lukas and her newly delinquent kids were at a neighborhood diner for chocolate pancakes and a lesson on civics.

The invocation of harsh punishment seemed to fly in the face of years of claims by the school board and local Democratic politicians. The school board has frequently lamented that students should not be suspended for less-than-egregious offenses, calling it racist and saying it leads to the “school-to-prison pipeline.” The pipeline idea posits that otherwise good kids will become so disenfranchised after being suspended that it could cause them to turn to a life of crime in later life.

Board members Karen Keys-Gamarra and Rachna Sizemore Heizer, who have frequently lamented excess suspensions and the school-to-prison pipeline, did not return a request for comment on how the suspension of students for not wearing masks fits with that view.

I think it was also Fairfax that tried to handle Rape administratively. EDIT: That was nearby Loudon.

I'd like to thank the AFT for being the biggest vehicle for School Choice in America.

Time to start locking these "educators" up.

Bring charges of child endangerment. That'll not only get them locked up but will make sure they never work in the field again.

Time to sue them, even better. Doesn't depend on RINOs getting off their ass.

"Yeah, you suspended my child/put him in a separate room segregated from other children after the Governor issued an Executive Order prohibiting it/State Supreme ruled it unconstitutional. I'm suing under a host of different claims from unequal treatment to child endangerment to whatever.

Yeah, you're going to have to prove it was absolutely necessary for health/safety (with actual real proof, under State Law not CDC recommendations) AND/OR that my child got 100% exactly the same children allowed into the regular classroom. 100% and not a minute of instruction less."

When these EduFucks have to pay for their own lawyers 4-5 figures in fees, or the EduAdmin Orgs have to start doling out 6 figure legal fees possibly going into the 7 figures, shit will get real for them. Just to answer the claims of parents I guarantee they'll be out a few thousand.

Do it over and over again.

This is how shitlibs get their way, by persnickity lawsuits over far more minor things. Year after year.

Fire and ax their retirement. Do it to 10 and the rest will comply with rules.

Parents Show Up In FORCE At Loudon County School Board, This Time To Protest The Insane Masking Rules Which Contradict The Order Of The Governor

Concerned parents, also known as "domestic terrorists" showed up at another Loudon County School Board meeting to protest their insane policies regarding Covid-19.

Loudon County continues to prove that they are the absolute worst school district in the United States.

Newly elected Governor Glenn Youngkin, in one of his first acts, banned mandatory masking in Virginia Schools. But leftist strongholds like Loudon County are continuing their mandates in defiance of the Governor's order, and parents, rightly, are not happy about it.

These videos were taken at a Loudon County School Board meeting. There are more than 20 videos of parents absolutely savaging the school board, here are some of the highlights. ...

Kids that won't wear masks aren't allowed on the bus in Loudon County. They're segregated at school. Some kids are forced into auditoriums or libraries where they can "social distance" and some kids are put into offices by themselves and given busy work to do.

They are being segregated and not actually being taught. Literally. ...

"When people say a mask isn't harming students, my response to that disgusting gaslighting is that I promise you, my son's learning is inhibited by his mask. Stop using him as a shield for fearful adults, stop teaching him that if you're afraid it's acceptable to harm others to mitigate your fear." ...

Here are also students who walked in maskless to school this week:

Youngkin better act. Loudon County Assistant Principle just told Parents their kids will be suspended if they come to school unmasked.

Where's the DA?
