Unless you have an OTA setup (cut the cable), you're most likely paying for it. Not a knock on you, but I don't get how people spend that much time on sports even part of the year. NFL if your team gets in the playoffs is 60 hours of commitment easy throughout the year. And if you like any of the other major sports you're getting into 3 figures worth of time.

Maybe it's just my city. The Bulls are becoming compelling recently, but I still don't trust that organization. Bears are a 3 decade dumpster fire besides one SB appearance that they should have won. I can't stand the Cubs and their fans. White Sox are better, but wake me up when they get to the world series. Blackhawks are shit and will probably have to change their name soon too.

I'm reluctantly going to a SB party to eat and get smashed. I have no interest in the game or commercials. Frankly I'd rather eat a couple edibles and listen to music on some nice headphones. Hell, I'd rather shoot the shit here on Patnet. Sorry, this time of year pisses me off here in IL. I like sports, but when your entire city blows at them for decades it's hard to watch. I was spoiled as a kid I guess with the Bulls.

We have cultures, ideas and morals overlapping each other in this country. I'm trying to have some enjoyment. I spend a ton of my intellectual talent thinking about who I spend time with and money on in my personal life. I'll dump any relationship that runs counter to my sensibilities...in a heartbeat.
