Director of Modesto LGBTQ+ organization among those arrested in child predator sting

The executive director of the Rainbow Resource Center, a leading Modesto-based LGBTQ+ support center, was confirmed to be one of 17 men arrested on suspicion of eliciting sex with a minor.

Gerad Slayton, 42, was arrested during a sting operation conducted by the Turlock Police Department set up to catch predators allegedly seeking to meet minors with the intent to have sex with them.

Slayton recently was appointed executive director of the Rainbow Center, a local nonprofit organization that provides resources to LGBTQ+ members of all ages.

Seventeen men — all but one of them residents of Stanislaus and Merced counties — were arrested in a Turlock Police Department operation to catch sexual predators who target children.

The online chat operation was conducted Jan. 5-6, the department said in a news release, and the suspects allegedly “were seeking to meet with underage children for the purpose of sexual activity.”

The men arrested are:

▪ Turlock residents Antoni Shahbaz Yangejeh, 35, Devin Greer Dacanay, 22, Aaron Doub, 41, Mario Dejesus, 37, and Salvador Nunez, 28

▪ Modesto residents Juan Viera Jr., 29, Justin Velez, 37, Cesar Linarez Jr., 25, Bryce Wilkinson, 19, and Gerad Slayton, 42

▪ Atwater resident Armando Cardenas, 32

▪ Livingston resident Leopoldo Garcia Aquino, 25

▪ Stevinson resident Jose, Herrera Sanchez, 54

▪ Delhi resident Andrew Godinez, 21

▪ Newman resident Jesus Cerna Bernabe, 29

▪ Oakdale resident Anthony Morrisette, 41

▪ Elverta (Sacramento County) resident Fernando Delacruz Martinez, 36

All were booked into the Stanislaus County jail, with the majority being held on $500,000 bail, the release said.

The men face a variety of felony sex-related charges, including making arrangements to meet a minor for sex.

Former Hawaii teacher, Alden Bunag, was sentenced to 17 years in federal prison for making child porn. Bunag was very upset with "right-wingers" on X popularizing the term "groomers."

Prosecutors said he taped repeated sexual activity with a 13-year-old student in a classroom and sent it to others. Investigators found thousands of videos and photos of child pornography in his possession. Some of which showed underage boys bound and in pain.

"I have such deep regret for what I've done that I ended up developing depression and anxiety as well as a firm determination to get the treatment and support I need to never do this again," said Bunag. When Bunag is done serving 17 years behind bars, he will be on federal probation for the next 15 years.

Earlier this week, Shane Murnan resigned from his position as the principal of John Glenn Elementary School to the Western Heights School district in Oaklahoma after it was revealed he performs as a drag queen and had been charged with possessing child pornography in the past.

In a post on X, Oklahoma State Superintendant Ryan Walters announced Murnan's resignation. He said, "It's a great day for Oklahoma. It's a great day for Oklahoma Schools. Big win today, the Drag queen is out at Western Heights."

The concept of Minor Attracted Persons — MAPs, for short — is a nifty bit of Neo-marxist rhetorical sleight-of-hand that we’ve seen before. Syntactically slicing a pedophile’s desires away from his actions is like definitionally-severing the twin concepts of sex and gender, which until about ten minutes ago used to be synonyms of each other (except ‘gender’ was more specific than the broader term, ‘sex’, which has alternate meanings).




The marxist goal to define MAPs as just being unfortunate people sexually attracted to “minors” (not children) is intended to grant them victim status, and to create a moral platform for demanding sympathy and special privileges. “They can’t help being born in the wrong body…” Oh wait, that was the previous bit of illogical nonsense. Let me start over. The new slogan is, “They can’t help who they’re attracted to.” So, the thinking goes, “We must be understanding and help MAPs manage their feelings so they don’t break the law.”

Why helping pedophiles enjoy their sexual preferences while avoiding breaking the law is our responsibility is a question no Neo-marxist would answer, and would obviously make us all complicit co-conspirators.

If Google bosses get away with this ruse, they’ll shortly be demanding MAPs have unlimited access to child sexual materials like visual media and dolls (“stop criminalizing a sexual preference!”). Once that beachhead is taken, we’ll have to cover our eyes for MAP parades, grind our teeth through MAP Pride month, and plug our ears during MAP Lives Matter protests.

And one day, as soon as they can get away with it, they’ll demand we accept pedophilia itself — in the name of love (“love is love!”).

We should’ve shut down the sex/gender rhetoric when it first crawled out of the sewers. Shame on us. But we have another chance; that is exactly what we should do with all this MAP nonsense. Shut it down. Pedophilia is not an identity.
