Ash Carter also had no military experience outside of civilian/government managment. I think Hegseth is our first Sec Def with actual COMBAT experience in many, many years. A quick search shows most of the persons on the "Eisenhower" site have no direct combat experience and were mostly officer-administrators.

There was literally no mention of trannies, hardly any constructive criticism of the current military policy in recruiting, training, or equipment on the entire site.
