Maybe because Zelensky is in soundstage in Poland, safe from harm while doing the 'Fake White House' avatar thing like Biden? Fake leaders meeting in a fake Kiev. It's the theme of the modern day and age.

Best thing that could happen to Ukraine is Zelensky to catch a bullet. He’s deliberately prolonging the war and provoking Russia to greater efforts of slaughter of Ukrainian peasants. It’s like that’s his entire purpose: to bluster and act tough and provoke even greater Russian atrocities.

We've had our fair share of shitty conflicts, but Russia (assuming stats are accurate) have lost more people in this war than we did in Iraq and Afghanistan combined over almost two decades. They managed to do that in 2 months roughly in Ukraine. Maybe he's calling their bluff. He knows Putin won't nuke them. It's appearing day after day that Russia is not a world military superpower anymore. They have nukes, hence why countries seek to get them. But they should have steamrolled Ukraine and they haven't.

I have gone in-depth to figure out how Boris Johnson was able to sneak into Ukraine undetected. Nobody is saying much. There was one tantalizing clue about Johnson being on a train in Ukraine.
Russia has a spy agency like the US National Security Agency. It is listening to phone calls, reading emails, monitoring radio communications, etc. Spy satellites are constantly overhead listening and watching. Russian military agency GRU is quite competent.
How did Johnson sneak in? One could not use any form of electronic communications including secret diplomatic codes, encrypted email, encrypted radio communications, etc. Boris Johnson would write a handwritten note to President Zelenskyy setting forth details for his visit. This handwritten note would go in a sealed diplomatic pouch. It would go to the British embassy in Kyiv. The British ambassador would open the pouch. He would read the note. He would go to see President Zelenskyy in person with no fanfare or even a phone call. He would share the note with President Zelenskyy. All details would be worked out. The British ambassador would return to the embassy and send a handwritten note to Boris Johnson. It would go in a sealed diplomatic pouch that would end up at 10 Downing Street in London.
Now Johnson would have to make transportation arrangements. His most trusted senior Royal Air Force officer would make preparations for a flight to Ukraine. Most likely, Britain's Air Force One would not be used. Some innocuous transport plane would be put into service. It would have an official flight plan landing somewhere in Poland. Then a secret flight to Lviv would take place. Johnson would land unannounced. He would get on a train going to Kyiv.
