I doubt this. You can easily overwhelm a satellite by just sending static to it. Unless the Russians don't know what they are doing, OR the satellites point to very specific areas and have shielding. I don't know anything about THESE satellites of course,

It's possible they aren't this time, but it would be a shock. The word is that Russia hasn't been targeting infrastructure. What I don't understand is what difference would it make if Starlink was operating or not? Are there that many Starlink dishes there? Did they ship a bunch in just after the war began or secretly before anticipating it? That's what doesn't make sense to me, the dishes are a single IP address, and meant for residential use.

Musk sent thousands of terminals to Ukraine in the last month. The US government is also funding more Starlink terminals to go to Ukraine.

Not when you understand Twitter's purpose is propaganda and to limit communication and censor the public. For all we know, they have a $5 billion dollar yearly contract from the US government for... rental space? It's easy for the government to funnel money to a company under the guise of "national security" now.

Twitter was a loser nothing company until Trump became president. It had no profit. Is it really making its money selling advertisements nobody looks at? Possibly, but I doubt it. I can't prove it, but there's talk and it's not just me. Some engineers tell me "duh, of course it's intelligence - naive fool". I just strongly suspect.

Check out Dr. Lei-Lei Fi? Fo? Fum? She's on the twitter board, owns almost no shares, there for "AI". She was at Google previously, pushing AI public photo recognition on a defense contract. I didn't do an in-depth, but some members on the Twitter board are shady AF, like the Karaoke/Board Game Woman who got a British Peerage but is on a US National Security Board as well.

I just sold at $51.7152.

Counting it as just good luck that it moved 5.5% in one trading day. I think Elon's bid will still probably work out, but I'd rather have a bird in the hand than two in the bush.

Here is a great interview with Musk from last week. Covers alot of ground including his concern over population decline and telling the German interviewer to his face that is "madness" that Germany is decommissioning their nuke plants in terms of environmental and national security concerns.

I think I'll wait a bit to apply. I wouldnt want to get hired into a team he ends up cutting. Maybe wait a bit to see if he goes on a hiring spree to build out some of his changes. One thing that did worry me is he said one of his changes / goals will be to "authenticate all humans". I dont know what that means, but it sounds like maybe linking your twitter handle to your real identity. I imagine that would greatly reduce spam and trolls, as well as make people speak less brazenly. But I think discussion of certain topics is best served by anonymous handles. Although, sometimes I wonder if anon handles are part of the problem that makes discussion of certain things taboo, as if everyone just talked openly via real identities, it would be viewed as more normal. hmm.
