Wish I had this kind of fuck you money. You know he's probably going to do it and it's not a troll/joke (mostly is). He needs and wants engineers and young ones are cheaper and educated the same just with less experience. Taking the talent that goes to the Ivies or MIT would be a big deal for his companies.

Science and tech are a majority guys and even nerds think going to TITS would be hilarious. I doubt there would a lot of women there, but who know. Clever and funny either way even if it's a made up meme/x/tweet whatever the it's called at this point.

I don't take much issue with Musk, but your comment is correct. People feel like they need to bow down to the guy. EV's are awful for the climate, extracting rare earth minerals is a biggie. We have plenty of oil and always will.

If he was smart he'd create NukeX and build nuclear power plants nationwide. Power grid will start giving out during summer with 2-4% more EV's sold. He can't sell his cars without electricity. Generally can't sell them north of I-80 across the country and have them be reliable in the winter. Tesla and all others are reaching market saturation. These greenies don't understand the electricity demand. They just didn't want gas emissions which are trivial and don't do anything to the environment.

Electricity is the most structured and therefore complex form of energy. You have to specify amperage, voltage, frequency, phase, and number of phases (the last three for AC). Battery storage is its own can of worms - how much tech goes into the Tesla battery packs to keep them at optimum charge/discharge temperature and monitor for short circuit or overtemp conditions?

For hydrocarbons, just burn them for heat. 'Nuff said.
