I've been a bit harsh about this. I'll just say, I don't understand how we went from slim is beautiful and healthy to "Damn, that girl got a phat ass".

IMO black culture. They LOVE those enormous asses, and black culture is pretty influential in lots of music genres young people listen too, and so I think their music videos and stuff kinda promotes the "enormous ass = good, even if u fat". I think its also a reason why heavy white women seem to pair up with black men so much - everyone else rejects their fat ass, but black men love it cause its big.

Lowered expectations I think also contributes. Americans are fucking fat asses now, and slim people are uncommon, and a slim fit women is even more out of reach for many men due to her rarity. So men say mitigating things like "I want some meat on them bones" instead of "I like slim women better, but I can only mack a pudgy one." for the same reasons people say that theyre happy, or they love their job, when they really dont. Basically they settle and then lie to pretend they got their ideal.

Exactly. It's also a lot of the reason behind Healthy At Any Size.

I've seen people turn demonic when criticized about the Obesity is healthy shit, on a forum that has nothing to do with politics, and then temper tantrum and flounce.

The Wikipedia is probably right about Demi, since the article is not locked. The corrupted articles are all locked.

In mid-1994, shortly after Lovato's second birthday, their parents divorced.[13] Their father was of Mexican descent, with mostly Spanish and Native American ancestors, and came from a family that had been living in New Mexico for generations; he also had distant Portuguese and Jewish ancestry.[14][15] Their mother is of English and Irish descent.

Daddy abandonment issues, bullimia, cocaine, and sexual molestation issues - what could go wrong?
