"F*ck the Fourth" was the Independence Day message from the Pima County Democratic Party of Arizona in the lead up to the holiday weekend. They deleted the tweet, but not before it was captured and reposted by Turning Point Action's Tyler Bowyer. Pima County is the home to Democrat Senator Mark Kelly.

Yep, and their apology shows they are guilty. And it is not as if the apology offers any value since they already said "F the Fourth". That is not a statement where an apology for it will make a positive difference or any amends.

Is that an actual tweet? I'm not a jingoist, rah, rah type, but bring your anger? Get fucked.

Love my country, but cannot stand holidays of any sort. It feeds both sides of the vitriol. Case in point here. What is the actual end goal? Women's march? Oh they're finally going to do something? Good or bad war discussion aside, fucking shut up. Work a job. Stay at home. Do whatever. Do not bitch about people putting their lives on the line for what you have.

There's no quantifiable results for shit like this. Just a bunch of people pissing their pants thinking they're doing good work. How about help people. Join a board. Get elected. Get on the PTO and help kids. There's so much people can do instead of just bitch.

Mark Kelly sucks.

I always instinctively hated him.

Yeah he went to the space station, how awesome is that?

I have always loved the 4th; I noticed that I was the only guy on my street in Santa Cruz California who hung out the flag.

See, the same mindset that hates himself (“self-loathing”) hates the idea of American exceptionalism, independence, “give me liberty or give me death” attitude.

I’m certain Kelly sees his ugly visage every morning and feels bitter.

Yeah, I feel government employees tend to get a silver spoon after a while. No offense to my Air Force Academy friends.

That’s the understatement of the year.
Edit: they get the silver spoon the day they are hired.

As an AF Academy grad, none taken. You are correct, government employees over time acquire quite the sense of entitlement. An extreme example is Pete Buttigieg taking a 4-month maternity leave immediately after taking office.

Arizona Republican Blake Masters relentlessly hammered Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ) on the issues of border security, inflation, abortion, and big-tech censorship in a clear-cut victory in Thursday’s U.S. Senate debate.

Obama used George Clooney and other prominent leftists to force Joe Biden out of a losing race. Obama's master plan was an open convention where Mark Kelly, former astronaut and current senator from Arizona, emerged as the winner.

Biden just steamrolled that plan, potentially sinking the Democratic Party's 2024 chances like he messed up the economy, Afghanistan, Ukraine, the Middle East, and more!

Kelly sucks, I also have a pet peeve about balding guys who go Lex Luthor.
Maybe it's the only option for them?

I was impressed by Elon Musk’s fine more moral sensibility in his recent interview with Fox News Brett Baier.

BAIER: Democratic Arizona Senator Mark Kelly posted on X about his trip to Ukraine to push for continuing to send US weapons and support there, and you posted that he was a traitor. Why do that?

MUSK: Well I think somebody should care about the interests of the Untied States above the interests of another country, and if they don't, they're a traitor.

BAIER: [Kelly] is a decorated veteran, a former astronaut, a sitting US senator."

MUSK: It doesn't mean it's ok for him to put the interests of another country above America.

MUSK: We should have empathy for the thousands of people dying everyday in the trenches. For no movement in the lines. For the past two years thousands of people have died every week for nothing. … I take great offense at those who put the appearance of goodness over the reality of it. Those who virtue signal and say we can't give into Russia, but have no solution to stopping thousands of kids dying every day. … I have contempt for such people and I want to make that clear. Because they're virtue signaling and their lack of a solution means that kids don't have a father. It means parents lost a son. For what? Nothing.

Last week, the Hill ran a story headlined, “Senate GOP grows uneasy as Pentagon’s Kelly investigation escalates.” Well. Sort of. Not the whole GOP.

Last week, the War Department announced that the internal review of Senator Mark Kelly (D-Ariz.) over his “don’t follow orders” video has now risen to the level of an “official Command Investigation.” This is legally significant because it is a formal escalation. The Pentagon has moved from an informal “review” to a structured, commander‑directed investigation that can generate findings and recommendations for real adverse actions.

Senator Kelly has argued unpersuasively that he was “only” reminding troops not to follow illegal orders, that his only intention was to publish a neutral public service video to refresh soldiers on an uncontroversial point of basic military law. In other words, Mark Kelly thinks we are all stupid. The video’s timing, framing, and the cast of characters make it abundantly clear this was a political message aimed at delegitimizing this commander in chief in the eyes of the uniformed, not any neutral reminder of black‑letter law. Please.

Senator Kelley is a retired Navy captain who is subject to potential recall, and as such remains under military jurisdiction. Democrats and some squishy Senate Republicans argue that sitting Senators should always be exempt from military justice. Apparently, nothing like this has ever happened before, so there are no court cases to guide us. (One suspects there will soon be some helpful new cases, though.)

However this turns out, remember what they always say about the process being the punishment. Senator Kelly fooled around, and now he is finding out.
