A top Democrat senator has just expressed his belief that the prosecution of President Joe Biden’s son Hunter is “legally justified.”

The statement was made by U.S. Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT), who is usually a staunch ally of Biden.

Murphy, according to the New York Post, made the remark during an appearance over the weekend on NBC’s Meet the Press.

During his NBC appearance, Murphy was asked whether he believes that the prosecution of Hunter Biden is political.

Murphy replied, “I think it’s legally justified.

“I think this is a very troubled individual who has – who has done things that are worthy of prosecution, and so I look forward to that case continuing.”

Murphy is essentially contradicting the narrative that the Biden White House, the Democrats, and their allies have been pushing, which is that the prosecution of him is political.

It's 100% political that Bidet and crackhead son are not in jail so far, and it's 100% political that Murphy is now moving against Biden since he has become a millstone on the Democratic Party's neck.

The rest of us are subject to the rule of law, but not high-ranking Democrats. This selective enforcement according to politics delegitimizes the entire US government. The putrefaction in the FBI and DOJ stinks and everyone can smell it.

Democrat Senator Chris Murphy said the quiet part out loud on MSNBC on Wednesday night. Murphy told Chris Hayes the “strategy” on immigration “has failed to deliver for the people we care about most, the undocumented Americans that are in this country.”

There you have it.

Chris Hayes: The negotiation didn’t have a path to citizenship. It was entirely on their terms in order to get Ukraine funding. Right?

Senator Chris Murphy (D-Conn.): Well, I mean, Chris, that’s been a failed play for 20 years. So you are right that that has been the Democratic strategy for 30 years, maybe. And it has failed to deliver for the people we care about most, the undocumented Americans that are in this country. This is also not 2013 any longer. When we ran that play last.
