"This should go away if Rand Paul doesn't amplify it too much." New emails show how far Fauci and the NIH went in their coverup efforts

A group of damning emails released by the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic has revealed the lengths Dr. Fauci and NIH adviser David Morens went to hide the fact that COVID-19 was created with Dr. Fauci's approval in an NIH-funded lab in Wuhan.

Senator Rand Paul shared this interesting bit:

... Further emails show how they illegally used personal emails and back-channel communications to dodge Freedom of Information Act requests...

Pretty sure Jim Jordan or Trey Gowdy needs to be Trumps nomination for attorney general.

Trey Gowdy was a pompous dandy that liked to put on fancy outfits and preen his quaff then go on Fox news and boast about what he ought to do.

Jim Jordan needs to stay where he's at, until he produces results with his freedom caucus and the ranking member of his committee. Less he too be deemed nothing more than self pandering wind bag like Trey.

Rand Paul to target ‘COVID cover-up’ as head of Senate Homeland Security committee

Sen. Rand Paul will take over the chairmanship of the upper chamber’s Homeland Security Committee starting in January after two years as the panel’s top Republican — and he’s told The Post he wants to uncover the truth about the COVID-19 pandemic.

Whoever comes in front of the committee is just going to lie with no consequence. Trump made the vaccine, but Biden tried to get mandates in. The Dems will just softball questions. Nothing will come of it.

You have to remember most Americans don't care about this stuff. When I tell people facts they're like "what?" But then they don't care 20 minutes later or probably remember. Gotta remember that 98% of people will never go to DC. You can watch on CSPAN but it's not the same as being there. Watch a hearing in person. It's a lot of doing nothing. Did a 3 day trip to DC as a kid. I'll never go back. I detest that place and this was the 90's.

I don't want to expand government but I think the Congress should be regional for meeting and voting. I believe I said it in this post or another. I don't think having everything in one city is logical. Eastern, Central, Mountain and West Coast time zone mini Capitals. Less time on a plane and more time around constituents.

I actually wouldn't be shocked to find out that 95% of Californians haven't been to Wisconsin. Or people from Maryland to Arkansas. I think I've done about 30 of the lower 48 three times or more. AZ, FL, MT, WI, MI, IN, CA, ID, WA, TN, KY, MO, AL, OH, CO, UT, NV. Territories PR, St. Thomas and Saint John are my 5x's or more states/territories. These are not layovers at an airport either. Overnight stays. Leave for Mexico tomorrow (to a fucking potential hurricane) for I think the 8th time.

IL brings in the money for us, but we like to GTFO of the state as often as possible. House members need to be active in their district. Senators somewhat, but usually in DC.

TL:DR - Fuck DC.
