Yawn: this will free up measly $750 million. Peanuts. Much ado about nothing.

This fussing about sofa cushion change is the most annoying trait of some of the "conservatives". It's like a dad running around the house and switching off LED lights pulling whopping 10 watts each.

How did you determine that number? I suspect it cost more than that just to maintain the base housing and schools.

??? What fucked up Alternate Reality do you live on?

The total comes to approximately $1.47 trillion, with the US accounting for about two-thirds. Note that these were mid-year estimates for 2024; actual final spending for that year (now available in 2025) ended up slightly higher overall due to adjustments in some countries, but the chart faithfully reflects the data as released at the time

Estimated Total for NATO Operations in Europe

Combining the above, the direct US spending attributable to military presence and NATO-related operations in Europe is approximately $19.3 billion for FY2024 ($14.6B basing + $3.6B EDI + $1.1B common contributions). This represents about 2% of the US's total $968 billion defense spending (as per NATO estimates, which include broader categories like veterans' benefits and pensions not in the core DoD budget).Note that this is a conservative estimate focused on direct costs—additional indirect spending (e.g., global R&D, procurement of equipment deployable to Europe, or portions of the $25.7 billion in total Overseas Operations Costs that support EUCOM) could push the figure higher, potentially to $20-30 billion when accounting for shared overhead. However, the DoD does not provide a fully itemized regional total, and much of US defense spending benefits NATO globally rather than being Europe-specific.

$20-30 BILLION

Stop taking fentanyl while posting on PatNet.

Republican Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) has moved to withdraw the United States from the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), introducing legislation that would formally end America’s membership in the 75-year-old alliance.

Massie argues the treaty has long outlived its purpose, drained trillions from American taxpayers, and entangled the country in conflicts far beyond its national interest.

“NATO is a Cold War relic,” Massie wrote on X.

“The United States should withdraw from NATO and use that money to defend our country, not socialist countries.

“Today, I introduced HR 6508 to end our NATO membership.”

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) quickly announced her support, reposting Massie’s statement and adding, “Co-sponsoring this.”

I like Massie. I hope we can fill Congress with people just like him. I especially like his clarity.

Massie's attempt to go back to ineffective, slow, and expensive drug enforcement in league with Democrats like Communist Ro Khanna, fails royally in the House.

Elon also needs to reverse all of Massie's Congressional Account blocks on US-based X accounts, he's a Congressman, he cannot prevent comments on his tweets. He likes it, lumps it, or resigns from office. He can block all the Canadian, UK, "East Asia" accounts he likes. This should be X policy with all elected officials at all levels of government from dog catcher to President.

OK, now I'm getting pissed at Massie.

"Classified" means "fuck you, peasants."

There’s a lot of bullshit attacks on Massie. All paid by people who don’t want names there. But it’s all lies.

Trump was ready to burn all MAGA to keep Epstein files secret. Just look at MTG.
383   TheAntiPanicanLearingCenter   2025 Dec 17, 5:57pm

I know if there was anything in the Epstein files effecting Trump or big Trump donors, the Dems would have released it already.

Watching Trump Bashers re-release a Promo Photo of the Hawaiian Tropic Girls already issued publicly long ago by the Corporation itself, but with scary black out on the faces to make it look like Trump was with "Young Victims" rather than Pro Models, is silly.

If there’s nothing, government wouldn’t pull all stops to hide it. There’s something there implicating intel agencies. Epstein went from rags to riches overnight with intel connections, no one question that? He didn’t own a business or work toward wealth. He was just rich out of nowhere.
385   Patrick   2025 Dec 17, 7:19pm

Yup, exactly. There's something BIG there, probably lots of BIG things.

It's underage girls and tax evasion by all the big donors on both sides, it's the Mossad connection, it's the US intelligence agencies and FBI protecting Epstein, and probably a lot of things we haven't even suspected.
386   TheAntiPanicanLearingCenter   2025 Dec 17, 7:40pm

Meh, I'll believe it when I see it. This thing has been hyped to the moon.

Massie really seems to be developing a love affair with Dem Ro Khanna

I hope to see them work together in the Horseshoe End Party they'll create.
389   TheAntiPanicanLearingCenter   2025 Dec 20, 2:24am

By the way, Massie is months overdue with his list of victims he said was given to him to read. Because it's voluntary, he doesn't have to redact anything.

It's time Massie. We're holding you accountable, release the list.

391   TheAntiPanicanLearingCenter   2025 Dec 28, 1:06am

Uh... uhhh.... uh....

Not what he said, he said he had permission to read the names if people weren't named. And he's been complaining about redactions.

So now Massie is happy with the releases now?

This was always a political trick.
393   TheAntiPanicanLearingCenter   2025 Dec 29, 6:35pm

You'd think with all the Somali Fraud and the rest of the fraud found by DOGE, Massie would be sponsoring legislation left and right to codify and assist with it.

It’s not because very wealthy politicians are middle men profiteers in these scams. Those 2 digit iq savages can’t organize things that complex on their own.

I don't see why you say this.

Massie looks like he's just about the only guy in Congress with any integrity.
