A Democrat congressman has revealed that President Joe Biden couldn’t recognize him when he bumped into him during the recent D-Day anniversary event in France, despite them being old friends.
The allegation was made by Rep. Seth Moulton (D-MA), who is one of a growing number of Democrat lawmakers calling on Biden to drop his re-election bid.
Moulton said the incident occurred at the 80th D-Day anniversary event in Normandy last month.
He is among 35 Democrats who have now called for Biden to quit the presidential race.
Moulton said he had “treasured” Biden as a “mentor and friend” since 2014.
