Hawaii Senate Dem Majority Leader Gets 3 Years in Prison for Bribery

Former Senate Majority Leader J. Kalani English, 55, pleaded guilty to honest services wire fraud in February, admitting he accepted bribes from a Hawaii business owner in exchange for shaping legislation that would benefit a company involved in publicly financed cesspool conversion projects...

English “peddled the power and influence of his position as a Hawaii State Senator and Majority Leader to enrich himself and betray the trust bestowed upon him by those he was elected to serve,” U.S. prosecutors said in a sentencing memo urging the judge to send him to prison for three-and-a-half years.

The sentence, a little more than three years, must send a “stern and lasting message” that corruption of elected officials will be punished, the memo said. ...

Choy is a prolific donor, as are his immediate family members and business associates. Choy, his family members, and his employees from various companies have donated more than $356,000 to political campaigns since 2014, according to campaign finance data. Of that, Choy has contributed more than $160,000 to the elections and reelections of numerous Democrats.

Choy himself has donated to 55 campaigns — including 29 sitting lawmakers — since 2014. Money has gone to former Gov. Neil Abercrombie and current Gov. David Ige. He has most recently contributed to former Honolulu Mayor Kirk Caldwell’s campaign for governor, and to Honolulu Mayor Rick Blangiardi’s campaign.

"Stern and lasting message" my ass. Only life in prison will do. Singapore is a much better country than the US in this way.

The daughter of Hugh Auchincloss – selected to be Anthony Fauci’s temporary successor at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases – works for a leading Food and Drug Administration consulting firm advising American pharmaceutical companies.

Adding to the conflict of interest, she has authored strategy papers for the company focused on COVID-19 regulations.

Hugh Auchincloss has been Fauci’s number two at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) agency since 2006, giving him considerable influence over the federal agency’s vaccine policies during the COVID-19 pandemic and push to collaborate more with the Chinese Communist Party on research.

He is also the aide Fauci sent panicked emails to about the gain of function research occurring in Wuhan in the early days of the pandemic. In a recent deposition, Fauci also identified Auchincloss as responsible for reversing a ban on federal funds supporting gain of function research in the case of Ralph Baric – who shared his deadly research tactics with scientists in Wuhan.

The various university ranking systems (Times Higher Education, QS, U.S. News, etc.) are designed to measure an educational institution’s alignment to empire. Universities that receive the most government and corporate grants and whose professors dominate their field with the most publications, are rewarded with the best rankings.

But what if one lives in a society where the government and corporate sector (and even academic publishing) are obviously corrupt and need to be overthrown? Then either you play along or kiss your top university ranking goodbye.

Universities need to be careful what they wish for. Being a top-ranked German University in 1935 looks a whole lot different by 1945. That’s the dilemma that universities throughout the developed world face right now. They want to be top-ranked, but alignment with empire makes them complicit in the iatrogenocide. As Naomi Wolf discovered recently, Yale currently takes more money from the genocidal U.S. Department of Health and Human Services than it takes from student tuition.

If the developed world survives the current self-inflicted calamity, then the vast majority of these elite universities are going to owe reparations for their role in the iatrogenocide — and their leadership may be prosecuted at Nuremberg II.

So when we overthrow the government, we will need to undo all of this. We need a wall to separate universities from the state in the same way that we separate church and state...

But the problem is bigger than rankings — the problem is the values we hold as a society. Young people and parents were led to believe that universities that aligned themselves with empire were “good”. Yet nearly everything that mainstream society believes about merit and worth is really about proximity to power. Now that power itself is dedicated to iatrogenocide, these values are revealed as rotten and putrid.

https://sfstandard.com/public-health/homelessness/ending-homelessness-in-san-francisco-will-cost-1-4-billion-city-says/

What would it take to house every single homeless person in San Francisco? That question has long vexed politicians, advocates for the unhoused and ordinary citizens.

But new analysis paints a gloomy picture of the costs.

Ending unsheltered homelessness would require vast increases in housing, shelter and prevention services, according to the report from the city’s Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing and homelessness consultancy firm Focus Strategies.

That would cost the city another $1.45 billion over three years. And it would take over $410 million each year after that to keep the programs running.

All of that money will go to pay off the criminal minions of the Democrat corruption, to keep the corruption machine running. None of it will go to actually help anyone who needs help.

It took 5 years to unravel the Thalidomide disaster, and that was largely outside the U.S. It's probably going to take until 2030 before "they" start addressing the genocide. After all, those responsible need to move to unextraditable countries fully within the pockets of the WEF.

COVID Data: Here today, gone tomorrow

I happened to catch someone on Twitter today who highlighted the fact that in the most recent report from New South Wales Australia, all of the recent hospitalizations, ICU patients, and deaths had been vaccinated:

Source: https://www.health.nsw.gov.au/Infectious/covid-19/Documents/weekly-covid-overview-20221231.pdf

While NSW is a very heavily vaccinated area, and by now it would be of no surprise that the majority of COVID patients and deaths to be among the vaccinated, it is a bit crazy that we have a row of 0’s for the “No Dose” row (Ooops- correction, not a row of 0’s. Zero hospitalizations. zero ICU patients, 6 deaths. Curious, to say the least, but forgive my oversight in original sentence). Not to worry, the NSW health authorities have a solution, namely (from the same document):

Did the TOGETHER Trial Lie to Reuters About FTX Funding?

Alexandros Marinos

Just as the Sam Bankman-Fried and FTX scandal was blowing up, I realized that FTX had funded the TOGETHER Trial, which I’ve been covering here for almost a year. What are the odds?

As far as I know, this tweet is the first anyone mentioned the connection:

... Long Story Short
It is incredible when timelines collide: somehow, the TOGETHER Trial story we’ve been focusing on in this Substack intersects with a global financial fraud such as FTX.

In short, yes, FTX did fund TOGETHER, and the TOGETHER team falsely claimed that they received no funds from FTX before May 2022. The principal investigators, with their statement to Reuters, are obscuring a $3.25m grant by FTX that must have been provided to them before May 2022, given that FTX was listed as a funder on the TOGETHER website since March 3, 2022 at the latest. We can speculate why they did that, but the bottom line is that TOGETHER is once more obscuring the public record.

On August 27, 2021, Dr. Scott Gottlieb - a Pfizer director with over 550,000 Twitter followers - saw a tweet he didn’t like, a tweet that might hurt sales of Pfizer’s mRNA vaccines.

The tweet explained correctly that natural immunity after Covid infection was superior to vaccine protection. It called on the White House to “follow the science” and exempt people with natural immunity from upcoming vaccine mandates.

It came not from an “anti-vaxxer” like Robert F. Kennedy Jr., but from Dr. Brett Giroir, a physician who had briefly followed Gottlieb as the head of the Food & Drug Administration. Further, the tweet actually encouraged people who did not have natural immunity to “Get vaccinated!”

No matter.

By suggesting some people might not need Covid vaccinations, the tweet could raise questions about the shots. Besides being former FDA commissioner, a CNBC contributor, and a prominent voice on Covid public policy, Gottlieb was a senior board member at Pfizer, which depended on mRNA jabs for almost half its $81 billion in sales in 2021. Pfizer paid Gottlieb $365,000 for his work that year. ...

Through Jira, an internal system Twitter used for managing complaints, O’Boyle forwarded Gottlieb’s email to the Twitter “Strategic Response” team. That group was responsible for handling concerns from the company’s most important employees and users.

“Please see this report from the former FDA commissioner,” O’Boyle wrote - failing to mention that Gottlieb was a Pfizer board member with a financial interest in pushing mRNA shots.

A Strategic Response analyst quickly found the tweet did not violate any of the company’s misinformation rules.

Yet Twitter wound up flagging Giroir’s tweet anyway, putting a misleading tag on it and preventing almost anyone from seeing it. It remains tagged even though several large studies have confirmed the truth of Giroir’s words.

https://tobyrogers.substack.com/p/the-us-is-controlled-by-ten-cartels

The U.S. is controlled by ten cartels and collectively they are destroying our country and enslaving the population.

Big Pharma
(Pfizer, Merck, GSK, Moderna, Sanofi, J&J, AstraZeneca)
Controls the FDA and CDC.
Result: Junk science is laundered and given the government seal of approval. Toxic, deadly, and expensive drugs flood the market causing widespread iatrogenic injury. Vaccines that cause net harms are mandated for school. Over 50% of the population suffers from chronic illness resulting from iatrogenic injury. Widespread Covid vaccine injury causes supply chain shortages, inflation, and impaired military readiness.

Big Finance
(Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan Chase, Berkshire Hathaway, Citigroup, Blackrock, Vanguard, the Federal Reserve)
Controls the U.S. Treasury.
Result: Money is cheap for them (the Fed) but expensive for us (credit card interest), oligopolies rule, there is no regulation, and there are endless bubbles and busts on the stock market.

Military contractors
(Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Raytheon Technologies, General Dynamics)
Control the Department of Defense.
Result: Endless wars, hasty withdrawal from Afghanistan to re-seed that area with chaos, and a new Cold War against Russia and China.

Big Oil
(ExxonMobil, Shell, Chevron, BP)
Controls the Department of the Interior and DoD.
Result: Oil and gas leases on public lands only pay 8% royalties. The U.S. makes alliances with despots in the Middle East and overthrows any leader who tries to increase royalty rates.

Big Food + Big Ag
(PepsiCo, Tyson, Nestle, Kraft, Cargill, ADM)
Control the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
Result: Subsidies for sugar and corn. Junk food served in schools across the country. Obesity, diabetes, mental illness, and low energy plague our nation.

Big Chem
(Dow, ExxonMobil Chemical, Dupont, Eastman, Bayer, Syngenta)
Controls the Environmental Protection Agency.
Result: 80,000 chemicals are on the market and we have no data to verify whether they are safe.

Big Wireless
(Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, Apple, Samsung)
Controls the Federal Communications Commission.
Result: Wireless transmitters are on nearly every street corner in cities. The ridiculous 2 degree rule puts dangerous devices near the brains and reproductive organs of almost all adult Americans as well as many children. (The way cell phones are tested for safety in the U.S. is that they strap the unit to the head of a plastic dummy and if the temperature of the water inside the dummy’s head does not increase by more than 2 degrees they consider it “safe”.)

Big Media
(AT&T, Comcast, Disney, Paramount, Netflix, Facebook, TikTok)
Control our attention.
Result: They keep the population distracted, addicted, and plugged into the Matrix.

Big Philanthropy
(Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Soros Foundation, Bloomberg, Tom Steyer, Ford, Rockefeller)
Controls the subaltern.
Result: They sop up any creative, artistic, or counter-cultural impulse in the population and direct it away from any critique of capital. They shape the ideation of oppressed classes to prevent any structural reform in the U.S.

This is who rules over us.

“Is that a direct threat? I don’t know.” The adviser to the Belgian prime minister spoke calmly as they recounted a lobbying phone call from 2021, but the contents of the conversation are extraordinary.

The call was from a spokesperson for Janssen, the Belgian-founded pharmaceutical arm of Johnson & Johnson (J&J) that developed the company’s single-shot COVID-19 vaccine. According to the adviser, the spokesperson warned them that if Belgium supported a radical proposal made by India and South Africa at the World Trade Organization, then Janssen might rethink its vast billion-dollar research and development investments in Belgium.

https://notthebee.com/article/biden-administration-caught-attempting-to-cover-up-discovery-of-classified-documents

President Biden and his Department of Justice have been caught working together to cover up the discovery of classified documents for 68 days, keeping the bombshell from the public, according to a recent report.

The New York Times and the Washington Post, citing anonymous sources familiar with internal White House deliberations, reported that President Biden and a handful of his advisors believed they could convince officials at the Department of Justice that the incident was nothing more than a minor, good-faith mistake. The report published Friday said the Biden team's goal "was to win the trust of Justice Department investigators and demonstrate that the president and his team were cooperating fully" without ever telling the public.

They hoped the matter "could be quietly disposed of without broader implications for Mr. Biden or his presidency".

The initial discussions about how to deal with the matter last November were confined to a "tight circle" of White House advisers: the husband-and-wife pair of Bob Bauer, the President's top personal lawyer, and Anita Dunn, a White House senior adviser; Stuart F. Delery, the White House counsel; and Richard Sauber, a White House lawyer overseeing the response to investigations, according to the report.

Despite their furor over the Trump documents, the Biden advisers believed (or were willing to convince others that they believed) that the discovery of Biden's classified documents from his time as Vice President was essentially no big deal.

"They reasoned that the discovery of documents long after leaving office was not that unusual and, as long as there was no intent to violate rules on classified papers, was generally handled without conflict, so the only thing that would create legal exposure would be drawing public attention to it," NYT reported.

Meanwhile, Biden angrily deflected reporters' questions Thursday about his mishandling of the documents, which were found at his office in Washington and at his home in Wilmington, Delaware.

"We are fully cooperating, looking forward to getting this resolved quickly," the President said. "I think you're going to find there's nothing there. I have no regrets. I'm following what the lawyers have told me they want me to do. It's exactly what we're doing. There's no ‘there' there."

It is clear now that the Biden team attempted to cover up the discovery of these classified documents — after they had slammed Trump for his own classified document affair — and that their goal was to keep the public in the dark.

Covid Messed with my Psyche Big Time
But it wasn’t really “Covid” that’s been bothering me all along

For almost three years, the madness of our Covid times has gnawed at my psyche.

I now realize the true source of my mental distress had little to do with some respiratory virus.

What’s bothered me (tremendously) is my intuitive understanding that all the experts and authorities the world trusts … got everything wrong.

The truth, I quickly came to realize, doesn’t matter. Lies matter more.

As psychological breakthroughs go, this is bitter medicine.

None of this would matter except these lies happened to produce massive body counts and casualties.

The never-ending lies also produced economic carnage and required Orwellian levels of censorship, which means those trying to counter dangerous lies in the future will also be blocked, resulting in further crimes against humanity.

That is, I quickly realized none of this is likely to stop, another source of psychological distress.

It’s the experts and authorities, who possess all the power, who concocted all the false narratives.

Members of these organizations are still perceived as more virtuous and intelligent than the skeptics, who were cast as the villains, kooks, “anti-vaxxers,” “science deniers,” “conspiracy theorists” and “extremists.”

Those of us in this latter group, we’ve been told ad nauseam, represent the real threats to the world. We were and remain the Bad Guys.

It doesn’t matter that we’ve been right all along and the people we were trying to expose were wrong all along.

I do feel like I’m in a ‘Twilight Zone’ episode …
My psychological angst also grew out of a conviction that my views are almost-certainly not going to prevail in today’s New Normal. No real “justice” is likely to be dispensed. ...

Report: University of Delaware rakes in TENS OF MILLIONS of foreign dollars from China, Saudi Arabia, and other countries since launch of Biden Institute

China, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Turkey have poured millions of dollars into the University of Delaware since the school launched the Biden Institute, President Joe Biden's domestic policy think tank led by his sister, according to U.S. Department of Education records reviewed by the Washington Free Beacon.

Since the Biden Institute was established in 2017, the University of Delaware has received $6,704,250 in funding from China, $23,610,996 from Saudi Arabia, $2,513,646 from Oman and $1,673,847 from Turkey, according to data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Weird that all this money started pouring in once Biden was associated with the University. What a coincidence.

I wonder why countries like China and Saudi Arabia would want to pour money into a university that hosts an adversaries' foreign policy think tank? It couldn't be that they're using that money to influence US relations, could it?

Let's UNIFY Over Our Biggest Problem: CORRUPTION
It is the one place we can and should all agree. Let's start there.

It’s this simple: most of our problems stem from the corruption of our systems.

The way to fix it is to unify against this one problem.

Let’s stop all of the noise and clutter and nonsense. Let’s stop fighting over the hot button issues; and let’s focus.

Do you consider yourself somewhere in the sensible middle, but without a rational voice in the systems anymore? Us too. Let’s start there.

The problem isn’t “the other side” (unless of course you are so far one way or another that you have lost all rationality). The problem is the people corrupting our systems.

The solution is right in front of our faces. Let’s set aside all divisive talk and unify to fix this one problem together. Imagine how much easier all of the other less important problems will be to solve once we fix this infinitely important one.

Fight for Ivermectin as a COVID Treatment Exposes Outsized Power of State Medical Boards: Lawyer
Excellent article explaining the process by which medical boards harrass doctors who fail to stick to the government narrative. Epoch Times, full text article from Feb. 10, 2023

Except in nine states, medical boards act independently and have full decision-making authority regarding discipline and investigations, according to the Federation of State Medical Boards (FSMB).

In all but 19 states, medical board members are appointed by the state’s governor and don’t require additional confirmation. In states where separate confirmation is required, the Senate or legislature is responsible, according to FSMB.

In general, state medical boards drive the public health policies of their state. They also have the authority to investigate doctors and nurses if complaints against are lodged and can strip them of their medical license.

Consequently, according to lawyers representing doctors facing medical board investigations, many doctors and nurses are being targeted by their boards for advocating for alternative medications during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“There have been a lot of medical boards harassing physicians over ivermectin, also hydroxychloroquine. Also, some of their public statements against mask mandates and questioning the vaccine,” Andrew Schlafly, a lawyer who’s filed several lawsuits on behalf of the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, told The Epoch Times.

“These medical boards, they’re not respecting First Amendment rights, not respecting the patient-physician relationship. They’ve basically been pushing the agenda of the pharmaceutical companies and the opponents of early treatment with inexpensive medications—ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, inexpensive medications known for decades to be safe.” ...

“[The medical boards] try to beat you down because they have a lot more funding than I do for legal stuff. So, you know, they’re trying to threaten and intimidate doctors to basically sit down and shut up and do the practice guidelines and be part of the narrative. Recommend boosters for everybody. I’m not. I can’t ethically stand by and do that,” Saleeby said. ...

“Medical boards know that if they discipline a physician based solely on ivermectin, that may cause political problems,” Schlafly said. Some state legislators are proponents of patients having access to ivermectin.

“So, what medical boards do instead is find the target physician who prescribes ivermectin, and they look for some other basis to discipline their physician,” Schlafly said.

“So, they go on a fishing expedition, and they’ll try to find some other graph to discipline that physician. And the real reason is they’re retaliating against the physician for using ivermectin.” ...

As to why medical boards are taking such a hardline stance against doctors who prescribe ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine, Schlafly alleged that the boards’ targeting is ultimately being directed by “a handful of bureaucrats and people who are connected to Big Pharma, and people who have a certain mindset about vaccination and masks.”

“People forget, but a year ago, [President Joe Biden] ordered basically all employers having more than 100 employees to vaccinate all their employees. That was one thing. He ordered all government workers to be vaccinated. He ordered all government contractors to be vaccinated. And he ordered everyone in the military to be vaccinated. So, it’s that kind of a mindset, which is one of command and control.”
